    Arabic Coffee shop

I think Tigrinya vocabulary may have some more words similar to Arabic but I assume the main reason people say it is closer is it shares more sounds.

I'm just saying the Nile is ours just as much as it is yours. Besides it was screw all downstream countries a few decades ago. It's just emptying the Aswan dam until the GERD has filled up. We are not disturbing the flow or attempting to affect Egypt in the process, we are utilising our natural...

The PM of Ethiopia will know the answer to that question not me . --- And I'll say it again, I didn't say the Nile belongs to Ethiopia:undecided:... but most of the Nile's water in Egypt is from Ethiopian land. This is a project started to benefit us and surrounding countries, not to harm...

I said it doesn't just belong to Egypt, I didn't say the Nile water belongs to us, but most the waters come from rivers in our country... Yes there are conventions covering river waters but there's also that outdated stupid colonial agreement we were not part of, which we are not going to abide by.

You'll have to take our word for it:cheers:, not much I can do, I am not the PM. I'm sure if this was the other way around you wouldn't care one tiny bit. EgyptianAmerican was crazy, the way he responded made it seem he wanted the thing to be blown up regardless whether it does damage to Egypt...

Who said we are cutting the river? And who said it's for anything but electrical power generation?

Our river is not a local swimming pool, we can use it how we please. We are not building the dam to harm the upper Nile.

Africa’s oldest domestic chicken bones- How the chicken crossed the Red Sea.

The discarded bone of a chicken leg, still etched with teeth marks from a dinner thousands of years ago, provides some of the oldest known physical evidence for the introduction of domesticated chickens to the continent of Africa, research from Washington University in St. Louis has confirmed...

I doubt everyone would be happy. Some will blame the dam if the current water/agricultural troubles Egypt is having is still present once the dam is functioning lol.:tup:

You said in your other post that we need it... It won't come to causing dry fertile lands, but if it does, we can manage the dam appropriately. The dam will make your ones less efficient too. I've already read Egypt has problems currently with reduced flow of the Nile and dry fertile lands....

Bashir (Sudan): A military base on the Red Sea, SU-35, SU-30 and S-300

Why wouldn't this be needed? Dams can have both positive and negative impacts to rivers if they are not managed properly.

And we have said it won't. I know you dislike Ethiopians, but who are you to say we don't need it? This dam isn't decoration, it provides us with something we need.

You cannot just bomb the dam out of the blue lol. We're not just going to 'stop' I'm afraid:what:. Dams do not have such a great effect. Did you grow up in Egypt? Apparently we are not allowed to do anything with our rivers
