Pakistan doesnt need to grow that fast, this is on current statistics. Pakistan has much more resources and land than Bangladesh and its population will be more than 50 million higher by 2050. Bangladesh is too small to surpass Pakistan like that.

The only reason Nigeria is ahead is because of oil. If you look at its development indicators they are far behind Pakistan. Bangladesh cant overtake Pakistan by GDP because of its smaller land area and population. Bangladesh can overtake by GDP per capita but not nominal. Look at 2050...

Pakistan has some beautiful beaches and I can see it becoming a tourist hotspot again if the security situation becomes better.
