    Stealth Technology in India

Surely dropping at 30,000ft is going to affect the accuracy of the drop, although it is nice to have the option to surely it is not worth the extra cost.

russia's new hypersonic missiles to destroy 5 th gen aircraft and cruise missiles.

Is it even possible to achieve that in earth's atmosphere?

RUSSIA starts work on second 5th generation fighter.

So there could be some input from what technology the Israelis get out of the JSF for the India version. Interesting.

RUSSIA starts work on second 5th generation fighter.

Plasma stealth is an exclusively Russian idea if I am right, I think even they have given up on it for their next generation aircraft. The PAK-FA will probably use similar ideas to the F22 to achieve stealth, (I am hoping it will look like the YF-23). There is also the possibility that they will...

russia's new hypersonic missiles to destroy 5 th gen aircraft and cruise missiles.

The missile shield is on the wrong axis to counter Russian missiles and with only 10 missiles it couldn't do much anyway, if the issue is the radar and its ability to see into Russia's airspace then that point is void. The US can already spy into Russia whenever it wants with Satellites and...

RUSSIA starts work on second 5th generation fighter.

Plasma stealth isn't used on the Raptor or JSF, plasma stealth means that the radar of the aircraft is neutralised as well as other sensors, it makes the aircraft blind. Of course what people say might be incorrect for technology from all countries.

RUSSIA starts work on second 5th generation fighter.

Just because people say it can cancel out stealth technology doesn't mean it actually can, how is Russia sure that it can take down planes like the Raptor and JSF?

U.S. strategy in Afghanistan will fail

Got anything to back this statement up. Afghanistan was attacked because it (well the Taliban leadership) was harbouring Bin-Laden and Al-Qaeda, it refused to give him and the leadership up, they got what they deserved.

U.S. strategy in Afghanistan will fail

    One person's opinion, not fact.

    India: Let Kashmir go

How hard would it be to have a full referendum on this, UN watchers to ensure fair play by all. Prior to the referendum both sides should agree to take action (who gets what) whatever the outcome. Maybe have sub-regional sections, if for example one town wanted to be Indian and another nearby...

    Stealth Technology in India

That stuff is almost certainly very secret, but I would imagine it would involve anti radar coatings, extremely advanced EW suites and all kinds of things I wouldn't have the faintest idea about if someone told me about them. Basically all kinds of stuff you wont find on any other plane as well...

    New Turkish Soldier in 2010

With the Turkish army still being a mainly conscript based force how will the conscripts cope with new complicated technology? I would imagine that the equipment would go to the professional units first but would the conscripts be equipped with it after the professional forces have been...

    New Turkish Soldier in 2010

That scope is far too big, looks like it would add a fair bit of weight and it will decrease the handling of the rifle.

the effectiveness of the aircraft carrier

How do you qualify Russian arms as the best? Have you any evidence to back up that statement? Western and Russian arms were built for different doctrines, Russians generally went for the ability for the product to be mass produced cheaply as well as being easier to use (conscript army) and...

    World's THIRD LARGEST AIRFORCE! *Pictures*

F15 upgrades maybe but they wont get their hands on the Raptor, Turkey is going for the JSF (it makes sense to them and they couldn't get the Raptor even if they wanted it) and I don't think Saudi Arabia has shown any interest in 5th gen aircraft. The Super Hornet is an interim aircraft for...

    Stealth Technology in India

Basically a RAM coating that can be applied to aircraft to lower the radar signature? If it is then it is nothing new.

Brahmos Cruise Missile - Russia & India

If it goes at mach 10-15 (or pretty much anywhere hypersonic) it would not be able to turn at those speeds, (not just a very large turning circle but physically not being able to do it). So if you changed position it could be avoided, if they are clever though there are a lot of ways to get...

Brahmos Cruise Missile - Russia & India

Have the Russians been persuaded to use the Brahmos on any decent scale yet? They didn't like it and it was only with a lot of pressure that they said they would put it on a single frigate, mind you there could be any number of reasons they don't want them.

the effectiveness of the aircraft carrier

Correction, the world wants to sell India arms (preferably without parting with the tech) The Russians certainly sell among the cheapest arms but whether they are the best is up for heavy debate. They may be cheap but in India's past experience they are not that reliable, although the...

    The Horror's of the Taliban

Nobody disagrees that the Taliban are scum who disregard the teachings of Islam and are disgracing Islam by saying their actions are for it. However if NATO leaves Afghanistan Pakistan will have more problems, the Taliban will regain control of the country and use it as a base to launch attacks...
