You ARE giving it a religious angle by putting the onus on Hindus to clean up the Ganga for religious reasons.
Cleaning up your rivers and environment is not a "hindu" responsibility. its a HUMAN responsibility IRRESPECTIVE of whether you find the river "holy" or not.
Hindu religious bodies...
lol...its idiotic to think that ALL names will be changed.
The naming convention will be based on a policy that will define the guideline for names.
Its stupidity NOT to do this and let the status quo continue without challenge just because you want a cowards "peace".
Peace does not come...
Its foolish to give corruption and bad governance a "hindu" angle.
By that same logic, one of the biggest polluters of Ganga is by Tanneries which are mostly owned by muslims.
UP has hardly voted on the "hindu" bcard. It has either been the "Dalit - Muslim" card or the "Yadav-Muslim" card...
Meanwhile China's "one china" policy has become a "fantasy" as Taiwanese parliamentary delegation visit India as official delegates :coffee:
Looks like your policy is making the two china reality live longer. Funny how it has now come a full circle.
Modi govt. is taking some serious action w.r.t Black Money.
Its unprecedented.
But I suspect, those high up in power and out of it know this was coming.
Foreign direct investment jumps 60% to $4.68 bn in Nov
80% of "FDI" is just black money round tripping. See the FDI jump before...
Religious hindus for most parts only dump ORGANIC materials like flowers into the water. Those are bio degradable and does not cause pollution.
No religious Hindu dumps toxic wastes into the ganga.
Industrial waste is the true culprit.
The reason is lack of state apparatus and abdication...
Why are you so afraid of controversy ?
BJP needs to take bold stands and create controversy if it wants to stay in the news and retain public support. There is a saying, any publicity is Good publicity.
Everybody loves a show of strength and arrogance. Politics is not a game for the Timid...
Not if a POLICY decision is taken regarding naming of public places.
Let the policy be clearly spelt out.
BJP needs to set the Rules, and not let others set the rules of the game.
You cannot expect much when our quality of Chief Justice itself is found wanting in understanding basic principles of the law.
"Ignorantia juris non excusat" i.e "ignorance of law excuses no one" is one of the fundamental legal principle of our judiciary, ye this is what our Supreme Court...
What does "radical" mean ?
Do you mean Islamic bigots and intolerant muslims ? Narrow minded and hateful ?
Too bad they cannot be payed in fake currency anymore.
Its amazing how demonetisation has put an end to stone throwing but has given rise to music :P
