IMO we all need to view the Papua situation from different perspective, and that mean looking it from the native Papuan who live there. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying to support their separatist agenda, but looking it from their perspective, as in what they really craving for instead of what...

The majority of those IG, Facebook comments came from sockpuppet accounts. Not that easy. Removing the autoloader mean it need some redesign of the bustle and adding the ammo rack along with it blast resistance hatch. And that cost additional development. I don't see how Rheinmetall will be...

U.S. will aim to persuade others to 'call out' China over Uighurs at U.N. - Pompeo

Thanks, that sure shone a new light on the true nature of the rioters. TBH I don't have any ground source at HK thus I couldn't interpret what really happen there (I don't trust the medias)

The 'forgotten' My Lai: South Korea's Vietnam War massacres

Naach, me think his grandmother took some agent orange (or whatever out there at the time) and passing it down to her descendant. And as with any other form of mutation it usually became apparent in 2nd generation.

They don't. Which is why that news article is ridiculous. If it were elephant or python than it is plausible, but even elephant would hesitate to swim across a busy waterway such as Malacca strait. Only reptile (typically python or salty) would swim across such busy waterway but than again all...

Near impossible. Rheinmetall ADS is claimed to be the fastest reaction active design available today and use revolutionary technology (it use some kind of sand to destroy incoming projectile) that also made them really EXPENSIVE.

They have valid point Just curious does the Leopard 2RI use the Nano-Crystalline Steel armour (revolution upgrade package), or they still use the old ceramic armour from the A4 variant and merely add the AMAP-B heavy add-on armour on top of it? :undecided:

Really bad idea if we buying Abrams (any variant). Keep in mind Abrams is powered by turbine engine instead of diesel. While turbine engine have superior power-to-weight ratio compare to any other type of engine it lose all efficiency at lower power band. Even running it in full power the Abrams...

Indonesian 'Belt and Road' high-speed rail link expects $18 bln from satellite towns

In term of population true. However they are not the kind of market segment for HSR, meaning they are not the kind of demographic who has a need to travel fast not to mention additional factor such as disposable income. Beside how would any new railroad could even connect Malang - Sidoarjo with...

Indonesian 'Belt and Road' high-speed rail link expects $18 bln from satellite towns

Yogyakarta, Solo, Malang, and Sidoarjo are in Java southern coast route, it maybe scenic route, but the technical / engineering challenge pose of building HSR on that route is quite significant (expensive) compare to building HSR upon Java northern coast. And other than to support tourism there...

IMO lengthening of hull is more about increasing "hull speed" rather than sea worthiness. Sea worthiness is about construction rather than size related.
