    A Chinese Empire Reborn

Maybe I've gotten a bit bored on these stereotypes? I don't know. If you don't have something new to report, just typing following shxxxts to earn a life: 1. corruption (remember that every single problem in China is due to CCP corruption) 2. Uighurs (they live a bloody miserable life) 3...

Thank you China, Vietnam is about to get her first metro in Hanoi

2011-2018, 7 years, 13.1KM at cost USD 0.3 billion to complete it is decent already, I guess, if comparing to French/JP or even Chinese own at home? In my city (A tier-2 one, or so-called "new tier-1" city in GuangDong province), for your comparison: 1. First line R2 (completed): 37.8KM at...

China to invest a further US$1 billion in Sri Lankan harbour megaproject

Don't try to enlight or even lecture him. He was just trying to say something to be "political correct", you know, after all, been too much stuffed by west media - China is bad, China is colonizing this country/ that country, human right, corrupt goverment... blah blah. Vietnam sees drastic growth of Chinese tourists

In Hanoi, I saw many many Chinese tourists. At the Vietnam Millitary History Museum, I encountered so many Chinese, bus by bus. And these tourist buses are all 55-seats. There were 5 during the 30 minutes when I was there! But the tourists were all old men and women. Maybe young people are less...

    More Vietnamese travel to Japan

Better more interaction with China instead of Japan. There is zero chance that JP " is opening the country for foreigners". Yes, ZERO chance, if I have to repeat. China is your future, in long term. But it is pity a fact that Vietnamese people are educated and brainwashed to hate China, just...

#PeoplesDailyComments Why are Chinese mobile phones popular in India?

That thing of "prevent Chinese refugees into India", is what dropped my jaw, given much lower living standards of average people and notorious reputation on some aspects in the latter country. There is a widespread saying, that chinese companies using "80% of the quality for 60% of the price"...

#PeoplesDailyComments Why are Chinese mobile phones popular in India?

5K-10K (rupees) is too damn cheap, not dare to use. At least 20-30K be a decent one. By the way, in China, people don't re-sell old (existing) phones. Just throw them. I have never seen anyone who sells so far. (However, in HongKong, it is different, especially Iphones).

Vietnam External Trades surpass $405 billion in mid December

Yes, quite agree with AViet @AViet. Hardware is in fact the most difficult part. Precision and capacity rule everything. It is a systematic thing, and basically represents how advanced of the country's ability as a whole is. It has much to do with your material sciences and manufacture ability...

#PeoplesDailyComments Why are Chinese mobile phones popular in India?

I used Nokia, Iphone, Samsung, now I have shifted to Vivo, the best for me so far (in using). I guess I am going to stick on Chinese brands for good. Next will be Huawei, if they looks good.

China has the world's largest middle-income population: Key meeting

"Middle Class" is an amorphous concept. Basically there are two calculations that define the upper and lower bounds: First, is that of the World Bank, which defines the middle class in all countries as people who spend USD 10 to 100 each day on consumer goods and services. By 2015, there were...

Why Vietnamese smartphone brands are losing out to Chinese brands in the domestic vn market?

Given that. I don't use Apple's iphones either. As I found it's quite "anti-human" to use. My wife has 2 iphones, using one. Another one stays idle, not even work as an alarm clock!

China is economically WAY AHEAD of Vietnam and India

Number that we cited is of course a big deal. We measure most of things in this world by numbers, isn't it? If number matters nothing, then I can buy a Mercedez sedan at 100 bucks though its worth 100 thousand, right. And if number doesn't matter, finding $60 billion is NOT "a more bigger...

China is economically WAY AHEAD of Vietnam and India

It doesn't matter whether or not do I have faith or trust in VN. In fact, I do. VN, as what it's called "small China", if China can do, I guess VN can do too. However, I, just as other people here, would like to remind and reason with you with simple facts and logic. Even kids can understand.

China is economically WAY AHEAD of Vietnam and India

Hi @EastWind, I kind of agree with you on that some Chinese has a tendency to tease or "insult" (the word you used) other countries or people. But saying VN is going to have 100 Apple retails stores is just groundless, my friend. May I advise that, in China, back in 2015, we had 15 Apple...

China is economically WAY AHEAD of Vietnam and India

Agree with you. Been to Vietnam myself, it looks quite like China 10-15 years ago. Some of my friends (who been there also) argues it looks more like China 20-30 years ago, which I can not agree. I guess it is that we forget how poor we were 20-30 years ago? or just our superiority sense haunts?

    Chinese and Vietnamese border

I had two days in Hanoi. Been to the Hoan Kiem Lake, the millitary museum, the Korean's Lotte Mart and so on. We tried Vietnamese foods, some good, some not so good. And the price of things here is not cheaper! I asked people why not buy cars but ridding on motorbikes, which is much more...
