^^ Nah.. Australia is the most popular country for indonesian student and also parents who sent their child to study. Aussie is much closer than US or Europe, so it makes mommy and daddy feel less worried about their daughter. Oz is very expensive both in tuition fee and living costs, however...
I personally think its hard to generalise because 'native Indonesians' themselves are very diverse. There are even stereotypes among different types of Chinese Indonesians, so imagine how much more complex it will be when talking about the 'native' Indonesians.
