The subcontinental governments should find a way to better utilize their foreign diaspora to help their countries, I often see so many second/third generation south Asian doctors, lawyers, business professionals, yet they often forget about their homelands, sad state of affairs.
Independent Bengali states in the last 1000 years:
The Pala Empire. (8th to 12th century)
Bengal Sultanate starting with Ilyas Shah. (1342 - 1487)
Restored Bengali Sultanate starting with Alauddin Hussein Shah (1494 - 1538).
The Baro-Bhuiyans led by Isa Khan and Musa Khan. (1576 - 1610)...
I'm going to guess unless you live in certain parts of Karachi you've never met a Bengali in real life, you've probably only seen the opinions of people on this forum and elsewhere online. Some Bangladeshis are pro-Indian, some are pro-Pakistani, most are mildly indifferent to both.
Listen mate neither you nor I were alive when any of those events happened so just let it go:lol:. What do you plan to do run through a thousand miles of Indian territory with a talwar in your hand? Or maybe you'll take a boat and swim out the Bay of Bengal. :yahoo:
I really don't know who you think I am  I'm just someone taking the piss out of the guy claiming to want to reconquer Bangladesh but you genuinely thought I was some kind of cuck for Pakistan o_O people can't get sarcasm on the internet I understand but surely that was kind of obvious.
We should focus more on transport and fixing the pollution in Dhaka before any sort of major monument, no one will come see it if it's unreachable and in an inhospitable location.
