Stealthy F-35 Is Visible To Thermal Imagers

yeah I read defense issues too, Picard likes the Rafale, and using guns and IRST for air to air combat. I'm not trying to saying that it is easy to jam IRST, but that with better IR countermeasures, the IRST based identification can be fooled enough that a fighter can survive better. The more...

Israeli EPIC FAIL to intercept slow flying drone .

maybe it had israeli IFF on :D

Israeli EPIC FAIL to intercept slow flying drone .

Missiles failures aren't all that uncommon. From DavidSling's post, it seems to be that the drone was an Russian owned Israeli model LOL. It looks really small, low radar cross section, with really small engines, so low IR signature. Looks like a hard target to hit. Probably should have...

    F-2 vs. J-10 Fighter

Japanese F2 isn't that good of an airplane. Other than its AESA, they made a much more expensive (127 million dollars+) fighter close to f15 in cost but less in capability, and much worse in thrust weight ratio and agility to base f16. Yes, f2 has better range, but its a pretty terrible...

Israeli EPIC FAIL to intercept slow flying drone .

SAMs and Antiaircraft systems, especially radar based have a very terrible record. So, I'm not surprised Israel failed to shoot down a drone. Patriot didn't have a stellar record in Gulf war, apparently overpraised by Bush and Defense contractors. Scud mostly missed anyway though.

Stealthy F-35 Is Visible To Thermal Imagers

FLIR/IRST systems are very effective. But IR countermeasures are cheap and have favorable cost effectiveness against investments in FLIR/IRST systems. Increasing and improving magnesium/thermite/flare emitters is cheaper than increasing sensor quality/resolution. Dedicated drones that jam and...

Is Russia's Lethal Su-35 Fighter Better than the American F-15?

Design wise Su 35 is better. It is a agile unstable aircraft with nice cockpit view. Engines, US Quality control, and crew comfort goes to F15.

Stealthy F-35 Is Visible To Thermal Imagers

Everything has a heat signature but FLIR systems can be blinded by lasers, flares, and other decoys.

Military Frauds of USA/China/India,Greatest Fraud as every1 knew stealth technology not exist

"Stealth" is more complicated than just being called fraudulent. It is a design issue of balancing radar signature vs effective control surfaces vs cost and reliability. Some like Pierre Sprey find it to be too expensive, and ineffective against low cost countermeasures like multiband bistatic...

Report: FBI Is Now Investigating The Clinton Foundation

I don't think anything is going to happen. Hillary Clinton is not going to Jail. Comey worked with HSBC bank, a bank with money laundering connections. He also worked for Lockheed martin (MIC) and Bridgewater, a hedge fund. He also recommended DOJ lynch not prosecute Clinton, even with...

F-22 Raptor grounded by 20000 bees

LOL, they likely came from a much larger bee hive somewhere else on the base, according to Chief Master Sgt. Gregg Allen, 192nd Maintenance Group Quality Assurance chief, who also happens to be a beekeeper. Not only is there a 20,000 bee hive colony on a F22, a 350 million dollar stealth...

F-22 Raptor grounded by 20000 bees

Pests and other animals like birds are maintenance issues, which is why bases have to keep birds and other animals constantly away from the base. Aircraft maintenance officers are supposed to keep pests from entering the base to prevent accidents and airplane/engine damage. The original...

F-22 Raptor grounded by 20000 bees

Maintenance problems happens all the time especially with budget cuts and low readiness rates. It is quite obvious these things are not being check upon frequently enough. Even the military says readiness is at near all time lows. I think you are looking for problems about me "making fun of...

F-22 Raptor grounded by 20000 bees

Its probably longer that standard 3-7 days. 20,000 bees is bigger than commercial bee starter package. Could have damaged engines

F-22 Raptor grounded by 20000 bees

The only way bees would have the time to make a 20,000 bee colony is if the F22 is not being flown and maintained enough. Do they put the airplane in a hanger and forget about it?

US Fails to Drive a Wedge Between India and Its BRICS Partners

I don't understand this article. Why would US drive a wedge between the BRICS, when BRICS was created by Goldman Sachs's Jim O Neill. If the BRICS alliance really existed the BRICS countries would create it, not Anglo American Bankers. Doesn't it seem like BRICS is controlled opposition? Not...

CIA: Destroying democracy worldwide since 1953

I think it is irrelevant whether Turkey is Islamist or secular. The US deep state hates secular Baathist Saddam and Assad, secular military juntas in Egypt, and previously Pakistan. The US also hates Islamists Republics like Iran. It is more about hating powerful, independent, especially male...

Putin Senses Syria Victory to Cement Assad, Confound U.S.

Russian air power is experiencing diminishing returns. Still can't prevent AQ from breaking Siege. Its beginning to look like US in Afghanistan, and Saudi Arabia in Yemen. Countries are relying too much on air power to solve their problems. Everything is dependent on the Syrian Army's...
