Oh this is excellent. Does anyone know what kind of trees China will be planting? I think more forests in the north would be good and may help stop the desertification / soil erosion that is a problem there.

Ah I wasn't aware of that. I hope other Chinese in SEA feel the same way toward China too! Certainly it would be great if China helps them. That said I've always wondered how Singaporean and Malay Chinese feel toward China, whether they are Western aligned or what.
