It is correct that Interantionaly, India carries far more weight than Pakistan in 2022 when, as late as the 1980’s, despite the fact the India had nearly 6 times Pakistan’s population and 4 times the Pakistan’s land area; both the counters were treated generally at par. COAS Qamar Javed Bajwa Last Address | 23 November 2022

I am really depressed when I read comments of some of my compatriots. Admittedly, Pak Army' has been guilty of manipulating Pakistani politics until the recent past, but then if General Bajwa possessed such a despicable character, why was his tenure extended for three years by Imran Khan? When...

Jewish population is undoubtedly very small compared to the Muslim population. However, despite the widespread anti-Semitic sentiments, Jews exercise far greater influence over the world than their total population numbers suggest. In addition to Karl Marx being Jewish; people such as Leon...

    T20 World Cup 2022

Regrettably we have to accept the fact that Pakistani batting is 'Brittle' and therefore not consistent in their performance. On the other hand, the way England demolished India; smart money was always on England to win. England was the odds on favourite to win by the Bookies.

Unlike physical commodities, electricity from a power is not something that can easily be sold under the table.. To sell electricity one would need to have transmission line and a transformer to bring volatge down to 220. Average electricity usage in the UK household is about 8 KWH per day...

    Not what you expect...North Iran

Iran may not be our friend now but she is not our enemy either. Younger generation is probably not aware that in 1965 Iran helped us in acquiring surplus Canadian F-86 planes. Besides, Iran lies next door and is full of oil & gas. As a matter of fact Pakistan's first refinery's (PRL)...

Featured Pakistan Forced to Buy Priciest LNG Shipments to Avoid Blackouts

My data is quite old but in my experience, one needs to add anywhere between $3.00 to $3.50 per MMBtu for regassification and distribution to the landed cost of imported LNG . Piped gas on the hand only needs the connection to the national grid. But pipelines are expensive to build and the...

All LNG spot cargo sold out, tough winter for Pakistanis

Undoubtedly biogas is environmentally friendly. However it also has some shortcomings. Mikhail Gorbachev has passed away

Gorbachav was the one responsible for eneding the cold war. However the price Soviet Union paid was too high. It is too early to judge whether he was good or bad for "Russia" but I admire him because he wasa a peacful man and let reunification of Germany go ahead without a hitch.

Admittedly, the is a long history of the Pak Army interfering in Pakistani politics, but at this juncture PA are acting in line with the Constitution and have decided to stay neutral. Why then politicians intent on dragging the Army into the politics? As if 2014 speech by Nawaz Sharif at...
