To the best of my knowledge...Its different because, when animals are slaughtered in Islamic way..they let the blood out completely(blood isn't Halal) that otherwise back circulates or stay inside the body/burns.
Perhaps this is the reason why animals that drink blood are declared Haram.

We KC ites used to wait desperately for those special occassion to take out our true religion, Denim, Diesel, Levis jeans lurking in the cupboard.lol.It was like a competition.....who's is the best of lot?

I have to disagree here.Considering the religious limitation, men are not allowed to wear shorts....because there is a question "how short is too short?" or for that matter "how much is too much?":D

and Kinnaird college never had a uniform (casual chic)but jeans wasn't allowed either..and...
