I would suggest you to refrain from speculative and unsubstantiated allegations. What we know is that it was an army general who wanted to have good relations with India just recently. what we also know is that it was Indian army which prevented Indian government from moving forward on Siachen...
Agreed :agree:
Aussies have a very small army but then it is according to their own requirements. Aussies have experience of such operations for example in East Timor, dismissing them is arrogant. We can capitalize on their experience and equipment if we can get any. :coffee:
Agreed, a good step for sure to address the concerns of stake holders and also indicates a growing realization amongst the US power circles that unilateralism isn't working and all parties and their interest alongwith concerns need to be adressed. I'd be hoping that Mckiernan comes prepared not...
I think this serves to define what we are looking for and gives a broad framework for the desired political structure for Pakistan. But this also implies that we ought to have a very strong and top heavy government. what about provincial autonomy and loose federation with strong defence ...
Another case of selective quoting.. Mind reading and digesting the complete sentence. This is what i also said but read who's sent them reeling. :hitwall:
Speaks of the mindset...I think Imran has nailed it. :enjoy:
Thanks for your information but we already know it. How many combat brigades americans had in Iraq ??? Did al qaeeda run ??? More soldiers in counter insurgency means more targets and military planners have to play this balancing act very carefully because insurgents then don't have to go far to...
Well, i guess it answers the questions regarding american plans for the future. By the way, anyone with some insight into the conflict did not predict that US will soon be leaving af-tan so this article benefits mainly those who doubted it.
Yeah, and then what about those bullet proof cars that he was going to auction ?? Never heard about them again. I bet he is going to keep all of them alongwith some new additions. Afterall, he has come to power after so many years, he just can't afford a threat to his life without making up for...
I wish we could change our people or our politicians. But what we can do is to think about alternatives which suit our existing conditions. One man, one vote democracy is designed and suitable for societies which have high literacy rates, see western domocracies for example but less so far still...
We inherited the British Parliamentary system of one man one vote. Having clung enthusiastically to this system for so long and having seen so many governments come and go, one is but compelled to think whether this is the system we want. Just look at the literacy rate and imagine that we leave...
Agreed and that is the only way out at this time. Pakistani's have lot of love for Bangladesh and let's not fight on who's better and who's not. We share common heritage and let our generations heal the wounds of the past. I'm also sure that the " military opressors " in Pakistan as the woman...
Till the time you get selected, i will advise you to concentrate on the exam itself. When you get selected, then u can ask and i'm sure many here would be able to answer. Best of Luck.
