Did'nt the IA conduct a cross border raid on 6th Jan. which resulted in the death of one of their soldiers????? Isnt that a provocation? This fact destroys the credibility of this article.
There were conflicting statements from various officials. If you go through a Reuters report a day after the incident an army spokesman denied multiliation. And why did we not permit an independent enquiry into this alleged mutiliation. Everything seems fishy. It's not as if IA has not lied before.
Tamils should stop trying to threaten the integrity of Sri Lanka. They had every right to crush those LTTE terrorists brutally, especially that butcher Prabhakaran.
Well everyone is entitled to an opinion, no? There were conflicting statements from various officials as to whether the bodies were mutiliated or not. And why did the Indian army raid Sawan Patra and provoke the situation? Questions need to be answered
I think Praveen Swami wrote an article in which he alleged the Indian Army was provoking the Pakistanis and had raided one of their posts 2-3 days before this incident. Also don't think the bodies were mutiliated.
He was given electric shocks and tortured with kerosene, confession was coerced. Maybe he was hanged because our state does'nt give any value to the life of a Kashmiri.
The interview to Aaj Tak was given under duress, afzal later admitted it. I have seen the video, just look at the poor guy's shifty eyes as he keeps looking towards the police official , it's clear he is being co-erced. He was tortured in the most inhumane manner.
The poor guy was a surrendered militant/freedom fighter who was harassed regularly by the agencies even when he wanted to live a quiet peaceful life after surrender.
