Cryogenic engines decreases the weight by storing the fuel in cryogenic stage in liquefied stages at low temperatures. So that more efficient fuels can be used. In simple way PSLV wth cryogenic engine becomes GSLV with more payload and efficiency.

Chennai metro is on verge of completion and it also had first test run for 10KM. Chennai metro will be in partial operation from end of 2013 and fully by 2014. Monorail project has been already cleared and will start by end of 2013.

PS : L&T is damn good and did superb job from highways to metros Is this Mumbai's skyline? Just amazing:woot:

Good Chennai's metro rail will be in partial operation from end of this year and fully operational by 2014. Already government has cleared monorail project to connect remaining areas to counter long term process for building metro rail. So in 5 years Chennai will have both metro and mono.

Might go to see launch and hoping to get some cool videos of the launch. Can't wait for GSLV 3 and Mars orbiter missions. 2013 going to be great year for ISRO.
