The reasons you have cited is exactly what happened with them today... and reason for the decline.. a few top leaders have deviated from the ideology and working in factions for their own benefit has destroyed communism in Kerala..

political murder is the main news in media since last 7 weeks or so and it has damaged the image of communists and cost them losing a seat in a local assembly election.

Man... Tough choice you have there... Do you have opportunity to gain scholarship for getting a PHD in foreign country or get into one of those work/study programs as an exchance student in EU/US/China/Japan? I think if you are in favor of investment finance ( I persume it is same as ''financial/investment advisor'' ) you can have pretty good experience and it will be a big trump card for getting a job.

But what about opening your own accountancy office? I am familiar with their work and I know that it is very ''boring'' compered to financial advisor but you can get a lot of money if you can make deals with few good companies and grow big enough to stop working and hiring people to work for you as an accountant.

But I hope you will chose the path you want and that path will bring joy to your life

Kerala has been traditionally rich.
Islam, christianity, Europeans incl Englishmen all came to the subcontinent area through trade relations with kerala. we have mosque which dates back to the period of prophet .

Speaking of communists govts, there was some land reforms in earlier times which lead to massive social changes. it had massive impact on social structure but it destroyed agriculture in the long run. communists were notorious for their strikes against industries and their crime record is among high.

Kerala's status as the best state was not due to party ideologies but by ppl and we had some good chief ministers from both communists and congress govts ( the only 2 govts.. we have no BJP)..

Our education system is best and literacy is like 96-98% which is comparable to europe.. now state is focussing on IT due to big human capital and a very highly qualified workforce.

oh and how did your finals went and this was your last year in university right? What are your plans for future?

Yea it ended nearly month ago but I have to take care of my fathers construction company because of our laws lawyers can't own any share in companies so I have the full share of the company and I have to sign the documents and approve payments for workers and me being away from home for months because of university I usually have very busy first month after I came to my hometown.

But sometimes it can be fun though

And yea PARTY!!!

I had quite few years working for a communist based student party during my collage days in early 90's.

now loyalty is missing but i do sympathize with them on issue basis. i am from a state which had one of the world's first democratically elected communist govt in 1957.

Give me about 7-10 years. I think I'm gonna go into orthopedics. Everyone sayi should go into that because I am a big built guy.

In the end it is about who works hard and who doesnt . In western countries generally they get their consultant degree around their 50s because it is extremely expensive.
