I thought it was a matter of public interest, how to confront someone like Silent Ninja who blindly insists (as per the thread title) that "the Taliban will never be defeated". Am I wrong?

That was quite a deletion kick on the "Taliban will never be defeated" thread. I put a lot of time into that. At what point did it become "off-topic and irrelevant"?
