there are a few islamic states that are a bad example, but look at Malaysia or Indonesia for example. Just because it is an islamic states doesnt mean that minorities will get less right.

even tho i dont support assads actions i hope syrians like you (the minorities) will stay safe and not be mistreated, when assads regime wall. If we look at this from a realistic point of view he will go down. all the damage he has caused by killling thousands will get consequences, it can have another end imo. that is if assads listens to the protesters and agree with their demands

That's a good news. I hope he is enough popular to stay in power in Syria and we won't lose a good ally in the region.

Ahmadinejad is a wise guy. You can hardly call him a Muslim, he is probably irreligious but pretends to be. If you read his comments and his best friend Mashaee's comments about Islam you'll see that he sticks to nationalism and patriotism but pretends to be a Muslim leader for the benefits.
