I liked the sentence from your blog “Like many Pakistani readers, my Indian friends also think it is strange that a woman sitting in the heart of Pashtun territory is taking a critical view of the political situation, and that too while writing in English”. Excellent, keep it up.
Regarding the external assistance, most developing countries receive loan from developed world and multilateral organizations, including India and China. However, the Indian economy today is no longer rely on external assistance for the financing of its planned outlays; moreover, India does not accept aid in areas where it has substantial control and accepts only external assistance from G8 countries and Russia.
For further information, you can refer to “Position Paper on External assistance received by India” by Ministry of Finance, GOI. The report is 2 year old
True, journlism is something which has to be done with a neutral view, if you are putting across your view point, you are not reporting the issue, but giving your opinion. Many indian channels follow the suite, they talk with a prejudice while they are doing the reporting. In that matter i like the BBC the most.
And yes the one from daliy times, shes on twitter.
