Chatting language is a thing and a decent and high quality language is an another thing. My paragraph here is full of spelling mistakes not "errors", that's because it was chatting. Anyway, I hope that Aryan-B has got the lesson that he must not even mention others weak English in this forum. If I ever see anything like that, I will correct his writing errors in front of all members. It's unfortunate that some people learn things in the hard way.

So I take this to mean we live in interesting times

1- "Guys can we discuss this rationally":
A: (guys) should be followed by a comma.
B- ( can we) here, you started your sentence with an auxiliary verb (modal verb) followed by a subject (we), yet, its an interrogative sentence which must be ended with an exclamation mark (?).
C- It is an old article but relevant I think: here you used three clauses:
1- Two Independent clauses: "It's old article" the first one connected using a co-ordinating conjunction (but) with the other clause "relevant"= "It's a relevant article".
