I would say its more an envy than hate. China has obviously developed better and faster than India due to various reasons. Indians want to compete with the Chinese . Most Indians respect the Chinese which is born out of the recent achievements of the Chinese. Apart from that India's are wary of China's relation with Pakistan and the border border disputes.
Most of the Chinese and Indians come to this forum with a friendly attitude towards each other. But as time progresses they will turn against each other. That's what I have been seeing here. The challenge lies in not changing your stand just because an Indian spews hatred on Chinese or vice-versa. I would love to share what I know about my culture and know about China's. Hope you have a good time in this forum !

I want to know to know what most Indians really think about Chinese people and government. Do they hate us? It appears that many Indians hate Chinese.

np man, I know a lot of truth about China.

50% are Zen Bhuddast.
12% Taosim.
6% Christian
5% Muslim.
20% other are none religous.

Chinese are mainly Bhuddast, however it is different kind from Tibet and Tailand becuase Chinese Bhuddasim has conficous philosophy. It is like Protesten has American philosophy. You see the difference. Catholic are very strick and less free than Protesten. As for Zen Bhuddasim, it is very free as well. Which is why Chinese seems that they are less religous. But actually we are.

2. There are Taosism. Taosism is based on Laosim while Zen Bhuddasim is based on Confusisn. Lao and Confuse are two completely different philosophiers.

3. There are also Christians mainly in largest cities like ShangHai, and some Northern Chinese cities which have influences from Russia.

4. Many Muslims in China too. The Hui Chinese are Han Chinese like me except with Muslim faith. The Uygurs are Muslims too but a different race from Han.

You know that India got many many religous too. You are Hindu but there are lots of Muslims, some BHuddasts and Skih as well.

What are you talking about. The majority of Chinese are still Bhuddaist. like 50%.

Just because we are communist does not mean we are not religious. If fact we are more religious than Europe.
