dude look at the body lang of Arnab...he looks so unusual and it was definitely not bcoz he was interviewing the PM....PM in India is not so big thing in media..they undress them whenever they want..of course bcoz we are a democratic country...ok..back to Arnab...He had interviewed him before the election and Modi had to literally asked him to stop the interview and change the questions...watch it on you tube...it may be an attempt by modi media to correct modi on the same channel...the channel got a great TRP and modi got his reputation back....so win win for both news channel and modi media..except Arnab I guess!

Pretty modest and I liked his comments about being apoltical and that elections should be a neccesity but not the sole focus of governments.

Considering it was the first in-depth interview in 2 years it lacked much substance but i think mr Modi conducted himself very well as the PM of India.

And interviewing PM is not a big thing, right?
I am sure previous PM's gave lot of interviews and were trashed by media I am sure. Care to provide some videos perhaps?

This is the same media which still does not have guts to utter the name Sonia in any of their channels.
This is the same media that kept saying MMS is a honest guy who did not know the corruption happening around him, that too without interviewing the guy.

And yet, the same set of media is expected to interview Modi, rip his clothes off, slap him for good measure and abuse him along the way.
Can you let us know the rational behind it?

Absolutely. PM doesn't have an air of false pride about himself and that is quite good to see.

2 years it lacked much substance

They had to actually reverse the vector of governance from previous times and in this context the way they have gone about business (especially power, railways, surface transport and foreign policy office) have done very good job. I think we will start to see some good policies starting to bear result in next 2 years. That said there are still laggards in the government and personally i would like to see a more pragmatic finance minister, where urgency is need of the hour.

Dude .Arnab was in silence mod not because of the personal aura of Modi but the aura of the chair that he decorates .He is the Prime Minister of India.And you should maintain that respect .

Not it is not.

Talking rudely to a common MP/MLA is different from talking to the Prime Minister of the country.

Modi ji was just a candidate the last time they spoke which is why he was aggressive.

Forget Arnab, even Burkha won't dare to be savage with any sitting PM (maybe except MMS).

When you address the national leader of the country, there is a decorum protocol.

yes Arnab has gone aggressive on BjP multiple times . Be it beef ban ,dadri , comments on Muslims like that of haryana cm or Maha scams or sushma -lalit gate

Only problem with Arnab is hes a nationalist and strongly opinionated. In cases like that of ishrat jahan cover up or JNU bharat ke tukde' or uniform civil code or Augusta Westland he won't strive to find 'neutral nuances' and play both sides instead he will take a nationalist position and bash everyone opposed to it

Yeah right , aggressive counter crap to a sitting PM . C'mon mate only people who already have prejudices against Arnab/Modi will make up stuff like this to downplay what was an otherwise honest and well intentioned interview.

Have you seen Freed Zakaria's interview with Modi ? There were no counter crap then also . Don't tell me Modi bought or had some arrangement with journalist of international fame like Fareed also.If you've seen interviews of other world leaders like say Obama you'd know this is how it's done
