How is that connected I mean? I mean there has to be other sources of these reports as well? If it is reporting on India so it means we should also trust it's reports over Pakistan as well? How do people are able to justify things by connecting them in such odd ways? If it is reporting something bad about India means that what it is reporting bad about Pakistan is also true? That is a very strange way of calculating credibility of any thing? The source is not Indian and defaming India & Pakistan don't hurt them at all so how should I calculate their credibility if it is also defaming India? People are developing strange habit of coupling 2 different thing to gain credibility. According to report the event happened in Sadigabad there is no city in Pakistan with that name. So this clearly shows that person who posted this report has no ground knowledge and has done this on narration of another person who also don't has an ground knowledge. Point is Aslam Mashi is being harmed in Pakistan for last 3 month at different locations thus making it a pattern of bais report published for certain purpose. every individual event has different circumstances & you people need to lose the habit of generalizing every thing. I am not saying that it incident could have not happened it could have happened & with liberal forces being so strong in Pakistan why no one else reported about them? There should be something in Dawn at least as it is the biggest anti Pakistan voice & criticizes Pakistan at every point they would not let any opportunity like this pass away.

Seeing the hate from Pakistani citizens on the temple thread and anything hindu, I am not really surprised on this attempted kidnapping.

First of all this is not the right thread for the topic .. but to get this straight , Pakistan is a Islamic republic which has a Hindu population for them there are plenty of Temples, the argument on Hindu temple was not that either temple should be build or not, the argument was mostly on is it allowed in Islam to use the Money from Muslims to build a place for Idol worship which is the gravest sin in Islam .

If you don't know anything than its best to stay quite ..

I just meant to say, that anything not Islamic is ingrained into the psyche of Muslims of Pakistan, that this kidnapping isn't surprising. You folks haven't mingled with kids of other religions making it easy for moulvis to indoctrinate kids from early age. And that results in kidnapping, hate for others places for worship, even commenting how destruction of Hindu places of worship is "holy"

This is brutal generalization, Hindus are well settled in Pakistan, yes there are issue but then every country has their issues with Minorities including USA and West . As for destroying or not building the temple, i posted a detailed post in other thread , its not as simple as people think it is .

'Mingling' with other races or religions is not a guarantee for tolerance. If that were the case, you wouldn't see hate crimes in the West or India.

Generalizing human behavior across an entire community/demographic is not a good idea.

so let me get this straight, 12 Evil Moslems randomly attacked a Christian family , to kidnap their 12 year old daughter for raping and later converting her to Islam ? ? ? so does this mean that in Punjab such mobs are out there daily to find some young Christian girl to first rape and then convert ?

If false then the truth should be put out through official channels to counteract propaganda that is maligning Pakistan's image.

If true then the perpetrators must be punished with extreme severity. Christian or whatever other differences...they are Pakistani and it's the state's responsibility to provide order and security for every citizen. Those who disturb order and security for whatever reason must be made an example of to deter others from going down that path.
