DUBAI: President Asif Ali Zardari said on Friday that he was in good health and would be returning to Pakistan soon, Geo News reported.

The president’s statement comes following a report in an Emirati newspaper which claimed that he could remain in Dubai for weeks.

The paper quoted a close aid of the president saying that “it can take two days or even more than two weeks, it all depends on what doctors advise him.”

In a related development, official sources have said that daily health reports of the president will be published.
