Hearing the report on the romantic relations between Pakistani foreign minister Hina Rabbani Khar and ruling Pakistan People's Party [PPP] chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, billionaire businessman and owner of Polo Lounge in Lahore and Islamabad, Feroze Gulzar on Monday night called his wife in New York, who now is attending the general assembly of United Nations along with the Pakistani president Asif Ali Zardari, to ask Hina about the reason behind such "scandal" published in media. The Pakistani foreign minister told her husband to send a link to the news that he was referring and Feroze Gulzar subsequently sent the same to his wife. Half an hour later, when he called her again, Hina Rabbani Khar in an angry voice asked Feroze Gulzar, "where you got all of these rubbish stuffs" and cut the line. Later, Feroze Gulzar made two more attempts to reach his wife, but the young Pakistani foreign minister did not receive the calls. At this stage, Feroze Gulzar made a phone call to one of his very intimate friends and subsequently he was advised to check the detailed call record of Hina Rabbani Khar. A family source within the Khars said, Hina Rabbani Khar uses six mobile phone numbers and two of them are registered in someone else's name. After Monday's shock, Feroze Gulzar even tried to contact few of the common family friends of the Khars and Gulzars to discuss the issue. Most of them suggested him to refrain from making any "hue and cry" on the issue, as it was related to the "political career of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari" in particular. Later being totally mad, Feroze Gulzar decided to write letter to Federal Investigating Agency in Pakistan asking them to provide Detailed Call Record of Hina Rabbani Khar's three mobile numbers. Within an hour of submitting this request letter, Feroze Gulzar received a number of calls from FIA, internal intelligence as well as mid-level leaders of Pakistan People's Party [PPP], suggesting Gulzar to "step back" from such "actions".

The hidden relations between Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Hina Rabbani Khar came under suspicious "radar" of Feroze Gulzar, when he realized that his wife was brining "souvenir" for Bilawal on each of her foreign tours. Feroze even expressed anger seeing Hina spending hours on the net during late hours, mostly during weekends, chatting with Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. There had been a huge family trouble between Hina Rabbani Khar and Feroze Gulzar in August when he asked her about the reason of regularly chatting for hours with Bilawal. Initially Hina Rabbani Khar tried to convince Gulzar saying she was discussing political and diplomatic issues with the young chairman of Pakistan People's Party with the goal of enriching his knowledge. When Feroze Gulzar continued to argue with the issue, Hina Rabbani Khar turned furious and even shouted saying she would leave him if he did not change his "attitude".

It may be mentioned here that, the Hina-Feroze couple were mostly happy before she became the foreign minister in Zardari's cabinet. The couple were spending their own time at home, playing ghazals in their music center and enjoying chilled beer or wine. Hina Rabbani Khar is a fan of Indian ghazal maestro Jagjit Singh while Feroze Gulzar loves Mehdi Hassan, Ghulam Ali and Abida Parveen.

Seeing his dear wife changing gradually after joining the Zardari cabinet, Feroze Gulzar even requested her to quit politics, which Hina Rabbani Khar harshly rejected saying, she would leave the husband and the family for fulfilling her political ambition.
Sensing Federal Investigating Agency's intention of not providing the requested call records of Hina Rabbani Khar's mobile phone numbers, Feroze Gulzan reportedly has started contacting some of his friends to unofficially collect the records from FIA.

Cold war inside Pakistani Presidential Palace

by Preeta Memon
September 24, 2012

Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari became furious on his son Bilawal Bhutto when the junior Zardari received a "special gift" from his girlfriend and Pakistani foreign minister Hina Rabbani Khar on the day of Eid Ul Fitr. On the early hours of the day, Bilawal Bhutto received a flower bouquet and a hand-written greeting card stating – "No wonder we waited enough, not its time to give an end to our waiting. Eid Mubarak!"

Later President Zardari came to know about the contents of the romantic greetings card sent by his foreign minister, he immediately called Hina Rabbani Khar and expressed anger for her extra-marital affairs with his "minor son". At this stage, Hina Rabbani Khar in harsh tone criticized Zardari's "meanness" and asked him to refrain from "poking nose into her personal affairs". The Pakistani foreign minister even threatened to resign from the ministry as well as membership of Pakistan People's Party if President Zardari didn't apologise for his "inappropriate behavior". The matter was immediately brought into attention of Bilawal Bhutto by Hina Rabbani Khar and on hearing the news of his father's "rudeness" towards Hina; Bilawal also threatened of leaving the post of chairman of Pakistan People's Party and leave the country by the end of the year. It is learnt from dependable sources within the Zardari family that Bilawal Bhutto has made his mind to bid farewell to politics and leave the country either by end of 2012 or early next year, while Hina Rabbani Khar is also expected to resign from the ministry almost at the same time.

While the hidden cold war between the father and the son is getting complex every day, Hina Rabbani Khar on the other end is negotiating a settled divorce with her husband millionaire businessman Firoze Gulzar, from whom she has two daughters named Annaya and Dina. One of the common family friends of Gulzars and Khars is assigned to mediate the settled divorce. It is learnt that, Hina Rabbani Khar is offloading her shares of Polo Lounge in the name of her children following the settlement of the divorce, while she also has signalled to waive Firoze Gulzar from paying her any alimony after the divorce. Trouble between Hina Rabbani Khar and Firoze Gulzar reportedly began two years back when Firoze was caught in having extra-marital affairs with one of the female staffers of his business ventures. She brought this matter to the attention of her father and later they collected some evidence of extra-marital affairs of Firoze Gulzar. At this stage, being terribly shocked at the betrayal of her husband, Hina Rabbani Khar attempted to commit suicide by taking sleeping pills. The incident was kept out of attention of Pakistani media. During such extreme adverse time, relations started growing between Hina Rabbani Khar and Bilawal Bhutto, which ultimately turned into romantic affairs. It is learnt from the intelligence source that, President Asif Ali Zardari is vehemently opposing his son's willingness of knotting marital relations with a woman with two children, saying it would not only jeopardize Bilawal's political career but would also invite political doom for the ruling Pakistan People's Party (PPP). Being aggrieved by his son's ego and determination in making family with Hina Rabbani Khar, Asif Ali Zardari played key-role behind using country's intelligence agencies in spreading the scandal about the evasion of electricity bills worth 70 million Rupees by Galaxy Textile Mills, a company owned by Khar's husband Firoze Gulzar and father-in-law. The media reports also alleged that she and her husband are also among many other beneficiaries of NRO - an ordinance drafted to save corruption money and provide immunity to the corrupt.

At this stage, sensing his father's aggressive attitude towards Hina Rabbani Khar, Bilawal expressed anger and even threatened of resigning from the post of Presidency of Pakistan People's Party. He even told Asif Ali Zardari that he would settle in Switzerland with Hina Rabbani Khar and her daughters, though later he even told his father that, Hina might leave her daughters with her husband after the divorce. It may be mentioned here that, Bilawal Bhutto's mother Benazir Bhutto left a hidden wealth worth a few billion dollars in Switzerland and Bilawal is the legal nominee of all those properties. The secret affairs between Bilawal Bhutto and Hina Rabbani Khar came to the knowledge of Asif Ali Zardari, when the duo was caught in compromised situation inside the official residence of the President, where his son Bilawal Bhutto also resides. Later, President Zardari collected mobile call records between Bilawal and Hina and found evidences of relations between the two. The relations became much exposed to Asif Ali Zardari, when Hina Rabbani Khar sent Bilawal a greeting card on his birthday on September 21, 2011 with hand-written message stating – "The foundation of our relations is eternal and soon we shall be just ourselves."

Asif Ali Zardari reportedly also made numerous attempts to reconcile relations between Firoze Gulzar and Hina Rabbani Khar with the target of making an end to Hina-Bilawal romance. But nothing worked as Hina was unwilling for such reconciliation. A confirmed report of a Western intelligence agency even stated Asif Ali Zardari's secret attempt of getting Hina Rabbani Khar assassinated. Through one of his friends in Dubai, President Zardari even contacted the underworld killer gang offering US$ 2 million for the murder of Hina Rabbani Khar.

Bilawal Bhutto is the legal nominee of Benazir Bhutto's secret wealth worth US$ 930 million in Switzerland along with some properties. In 1994, executives of the two Swiss companies wrote, promising to pay "commissions" totalling 9 percent to three offshore companies controlled by Asif Ali Zardari and Nusrat Bhutto [Benazir's mother]. A Cotecna letter in June 1994 was direct: "Should we receive, within six months of today, a contract for inspection and price verification of goods imported into Pakistan," it read, "we will pay you 6 percent of the total amount invoiced and paid to the government of Pakistan for such a contract and during the whole duration of that contract and its renewal." Similar letters, dated March and June 1994, were sent by Societe Generale de Surveillance, promising "consultancy fees" of 6 percent and 3 percent to two other offshore companies controlled by the Bhutto family. According to Pakistani investigators, the two Swiss companies inspected more than US$15.4 billion in imports into Pakistan from January 1995 to March 1997, making more than US$ 131 million. Bhutto family companies made US$ 11.8 million from the deals. For Societe Generale de Surveillance, with 35,000 employees and more than $ 2 billion a year in earnings, the relationship with the Bhutto family has been painful. In addition to doing customs inspections, the company awards certificates of technical quality. In effect, its business is integrity.

Rumours Aimed to Malign Hina Rabbani Khar: Husband

Pakistan Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar's husband Feroz Gulzar has rubbished rumours about differences in their relationship as a campaign to malign his wife.

Gulzar, an industrialist from Punjab province, was quoted by Geo News channel as saying that the campaign to malign his wife was "rubbish" that does not merit comment.

He further said there was "no premise for such trash" and that he would not offer any comment on "social media gossip".

There has been considerable speculation about the fate of Khar's marriage to Gulzar since a little-known Bangladeshi tabloid claimed without any proof, quoting "western agencies", that she was allegedly involved in a relationship with Bilawal Bhutto, son of President Asif Ali Zardari.

The weekly had alleged, again without providing any sources, that the 35-year old Pakistan foreign minister was poised to end her marital relations with millionaire businessman Firoze Gulzar, from whom she has two daughters named Annaya and Dina.

Asked about rumours of his separation from his wife, Gulzar said no such issue was being considered by him. He further said it was unfortunate that the persons behind such gossip had dragged his two young daughters into the affair.

Gulzar said it was regrettable that there is no system in Pakistan to identify those responsible for "such rumour-mongering".

He brushed aside a suggestion that US authorities should be asked to look into the matter, saying, "It wouldn't be appropriate to ask them for a probe".

Khar, who is currently in the US as part of President Asif Ali Zardari's delegation to attend the UN General Assembly session, was quoted by Geo News as saying that she too would not comment on such a "reprehensible matter".

Born on November 19, 1977, Hina Rabbani Khar hails from an influential feudal and landowner family and is the daughter of politician and landowner Nur Rabbani Khar and the niece of Ghulam Mustafa Khar, a former Governor of Punjab.

Her entry into Pakistani politics has a typical South Asian angle, as her landowner father Nur Rabbani Khar could not contest elections in 2002 because of the new law brought in by General Musharraf that required all candidates to hold university degrees. Hina Rabbani Khar was elected as the MP from her father's NA-177, Muzaffargarh-II constituency in Punjab on a PML (Q Group) platform against Pakistan Muslim League.

She became a junior minister in 2005. She was made the minister of state for finance and economic affairs division in 2009 and became the first woman ever to present Pakistan's finance Budget. She was made junior minister for foreign affairs in Feb 2011 and took over as the federal minister in July 2011 -- the youngest and first woman foreign minister in Pakistan.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at 24 (he was born on 21 September 1988) is 11 years younger than Khar, and is the President of the Pakistan People's Party. Apart from many other unsubstantiated, salacious details published by the Bangladesh tabloid, the most incredible is that the relationship has been known to President Zardari at least since September 21, 2011 last year when the then newly appointed foreign minister is supposed to have sent a hand-written message to his son, saying: "The foundation of our relations is eternal and soon we shall be just ourselves."

people are taking weekly blitz seriously?? its a zionist anti islam tabloid!! Take a look on editor's life

In July 2006, a mob stormed the premises of Choudhury's tabloid and beat him, fracturing his ankle.[7] In September, a judge ordered the case continued, in spite of the government's reluctance to prosecute, as Choudhury had "spoiled" the "image of Bangladesh" and "hurt the sentiments of Muslims" by lauding Jews, Hindus and Christians. After the police detail that had been posted to the Blitz's offices since the July bombing had vanished, the offices were ransacked and Choudhury was badly beaten by a mob. When he lodged a formal complaint with the police, an arrest warrant was issued for him. The U.S. Embassy in Dhaka sent an observer to his trial.[8]

Later, Choudhury lodged a case in the Court of Metropolitan Magistrate against the attackers, mostly belonging to the Cultural Wing of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP). Wall Street Journal

On 18 March 2008, members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) abducted Choudhury from his office at gun point. He was blind folded and taken to RAB office. In the late hours, Choudhury was released. Series of written complaints were sent with the military controlled interim government on this incident, but no action was ever taken by the Bangladesh authorities against the RAB men. CFP; Assam Tribune

The same month, the military-controlled interim government withdrew police protection from Choudhury's residence.[citation needed].

On 22 February 2009, armed thugs belonging to ruling Bangladesh Awami League entered Choudhury's office, ransacked the entire office and physically assaulted him and other members of the Weekly Blitz newspaper. Although a specific case was already lodged with the police station on the day of occurrence, there is no action yet by the law enforcing agencies against the culprits who are sheltered by the ruling party. Treason charges

Choudhury is facing charges of sedition, treason, blasphemy and espionage since January 2004 for having tried to attend a conference of the Hebrew Writers' Association in Tel Aviv. He violated the Passport Act, by attempting to travel to Israel in November 2003. The Act forbids citizens from visiting countries with which Bangladesh does not maintain diplomatic relations, usually punishable by a fine of $8. It may be mentioned here that Bangladesh currently does not have diplomatic relations with Taiwan and Israel. However, the travel ban on Taiwan was silently lifted while people started business with Taiwan in spite of the travel ban. On 29 November he was taken into police custody[9] and, as he tells it, blindfolded, beaten and interrogated for 10 days in an attempt to extract a confession that he was spying for Israel. He spent the next 17 months in solitary confinement, and was denied medical treatment for his glaucoma. On intervention of U.S. Congressman Mark Kirk, who spoke to Bangladesh's ambassador to the U.S., Choudhury's was released on bail, though the charges were not dropped.[8]

Arrest

Choudhury was arrested on November 29, 2003 at Dhaka airport. The following is the news report.[11] from The Daily Star, the leading English language daily in Bangladesh:

A man was arrested at Shahjalal International Airport yesterday morning on his way to Tel Aviv for his alleged Mossad connection. A leader of Bangladesh chapter of ‘Iflaq’, a Haifa-based organisation, Salauddin Shoib Chowdhury was carrying compact discs (CD's) and papers containing write-ups on some sensitive issues including ‘minority repression and the al Qaeda network in Bangladesh’, police said. Shoaib was managing director of the planned Inquilab Television until he was sacked last year. Members of different law enforcement agencies and Shahjalal immigration officials apprehended him at the immigration counter minutes before he was to leave for Bangkok by the Biman flight, BG-084, at 10:30am. "He introduced himself as the editor of the ‘Blitz’, an entertainment magazine published from Dhaka, and said he was going to Bangkok," a top police officer said yesterday on condition of anonymity. "Searching his luggage, we found a number of CD-formatted write-ups and papers that clearly proved his contact with Tel Aviv," he said. "He was going to take part in a conference in Tel Aviv scheduled to begin on 1 December", the police officer added. It was however learnt that Shoaib’s movements were being monitored for quite sometime on suspicion of his connection with the Israeli secret service ‘Mossad’. "He was going to Bangkok first and was scheduled to fly for Israel, a country Bangladeshi citizens are barred from travelling to," he said.

After release from 17-months imprisonment, Choudhury wrote in an Israeli newspaper "I also stand before you perhaps as a living contradiction: a Zionist, a defender of Israel, and a devout, practicing Muslim, living in a Moslem country." He said "I believe in the justice of the Zionist dream. I also acknowledge this historical reality: that the world has endeavored to crush that dream and, yes, even to destroy the viability of the Jewish people. At the same time, I live in an environment where people believe just as passionately in an opposing view—one that sees Israel as illegitimate; and the Jewish people as evil incarnate."[12]

Choudhury's father Ghulam Ather Choudhuri died on 29 March 2003, while his mother Sharifa Choudhury died on 9 August 2005. Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury was in prison when his mother died. The then government in Bangladesh refused petition by his family for him to attend his mother's funeral Ref: http://jewishvoiceandopinion.com/pdf/200708.pdf.

My question is why would MOSSAD use a Bangladeshi website to slander the Pakistan FM? Is anyone in Pakistan even reading the Blitz? How many Pakistanis actually know about this alleged scandal?

He belongs to the anti-Pakistan category but he writes about RAW? I posted the article because I wanted to clarify the confusion about his objective in publishing the article on the Pakistan FM and also find out what Pakistanis think about all this. I find his objectives very confusing and not all RAW related stuff comes from him now. There is now a William Gomez who has taken over from Choudhury and publishes sensational stuff about RAW .....

The following article indicates that Choudhury is an ambiguous character and has many enemies -

Richard Benkin, Promoter of The Bangladeshi Fake “Muslim Zionist,” Has a History of Deception

Richard Benkin burst on the international political scene in 2003 as an impassioned advocate for the now discredited Bangladeshi journalist Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury, the self professed “Muslim Zionist.” As Choudhury’s star rose, so did Benkin’s. Thanks to Benkin’s promotion, the U.S. Congress in 2007 passed a resolution supporting Choudhury, and similar resolutions in Australia and the European Parliament were passed due to a surge of impassioned sentiment following Benkin’s Internet articles.

Choudhury received a cash award from the Prince of Monaco and many donations from around the world. Benkin made a name for himself as a speaker representing “heroic” Choudhury, demanding handsome fees. He acquired considerable political leverage which he now uses to appeal to oppressed Hindus in India and Bangladesh as their ostensible advocate in Congress.

But Benkin’s past is generally not well known, nor is his history of fraudulent activities.
Richard Benkin’s Scam Nursing Home

Benkin owned and administered a nursing home, the Lexington Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Illinois, that ran afoul of the law. He eventually lost his license. Despite receiving a good education, and a University of Pennsylvania Ph.D. in sociology in 1976, Benkin failed in his field. He bought a disreputable facility with a history of health and safety violations --- and elevated those violations to a higher level. A 2000 Chicago Tribune investigative series on Benkin revealed pervasive fraud, misrepresentation, abuse of patients’ rights, and maintenance of an environment seriously dangerous to highly vulnerable groups and individuals. One of its co-authors, Michael J. Berens, received a 2012 Pulitzer prize for a Seattle Times investigative series on elder abuse.

According to a report that Illinois government health investigators publicized, Benkin scoured the state for homeless people on whose accounts he could run up big tabs. He promised swimming pools and therapeutic horseback riding programs that did not exist. His facility lured young drug addicts with fraudulent promises of treatment and recreational activities. The facility had no such luxurious provisions since it was designed only for elderly people. Following Benkin's acquisition, it left young addicts unsupervised, endangering both their safety and that of the elderly, sick patients. Out of control addicts, including some long time felons with lengthy rap sheets, abused alcohol and drugs and frequently destroyed property and attacked other residents. In least one case, one client stabbed another resident, according to the state health department report. Many agencies that Lexington pitched to filed formal complaints, all of which Benkin ignored. He continued to bill taxpayers – both federal (Medicare) and state (Medicaid) --- for his gravely substandard facility.

In June 2000, the Illinois State Department of Professional Regulation alleged that Benkin had lured a homeless 27 year old female drug addict into his “care” so as to have sex with her. Finally, the state closed his crooked operation and in 2003 publicly announced the suspension of Benkin’s license. Unconcerned, Benkin flatly denies all wrongdoing.

Nevertheless, the public account exists: Benkin posed as a beneficent good Samaritan helping people in need --- the elderly, sick, homeless, and drug addicted. Under the aegis of serial misrepresentations and untruths, he played on the misplaced trust of weak and vulnerable people --- and agencies established at taxpayer expense to help them --- apparently only for his personal sexual and monetary benefit.
Benkin’s Promotion Of Huckster Shoaib Choudhury

Now consider Benkin’s support for the purportedly martyred hero, Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury. The year 2003 was a pivotal one for both Choudhury and Benkin. Each had been disgraced. Both had run out of income. Choudhury was facing charges of embezzlement from his Islamist employers. Previously a fierce Islamist himself, Choudhury alleged that he now faced death threats from his angry newspaper bosses. And he had a reduced cash flow. He dealt with both by reversing course and promoting himself as an anti-Islamist. Overnight.

Until then, Choudhury worked for Abdul Mannan, a kingpin of the 1971 Bangladesh massacre and a key Pakistani army collaborator during the Bangladesh Liberation war that nationalists fought to free their country from fundamentalism. Mannan conveyed kidnapped girls to invading Pakistani troops as sex slaves. He raped and killed other women, stole property, and burned houses to the ground. He especially targeted intellectual and professional people who opposed his politics. According to a New York Times report, he confessed to gouging out the eyes of Alim Choudhury, a prominent eye surgeon whom he then killed. After the war, Mannan started the Inquilab newspaper, considered the official Muslim fundamentalist media. Inquilab (meaning ‘Revolution,’ one word used throughout Islamdom to call for jihad and sharia) was funded by fundamentalist Jammat Islami, which incited religious riots and the persecution of freedom loving journalists and academics. Jammat Islami follows the Muslim Brotherhood model of Hasan al Banna. Rejecting democratic values, Mawdudi embraced fascism. At one point, Inquilab issued a reward for the death of an anti-Islamist professor, Dr Ahmed Sharif, mirroring Iran's fatwa against Salman Rushdie. Choudhury worked at Inquilab from 2001 to 2002, according to his resume on Benkin's blog.

Choudhury’s resume also boasts of his role as founder and managing director of A-21 TV, the first Bangladesh private television channel --- and his surviving imprisonment and torture for “sedition.” It omits, however, that the purported Muslim Zionist's “sedition” did not oppose Islamism or jihad. Rather, Choudhury associated with war criminals like Delwar Hossain Saidi. The latter, for example, compared Hindus to excrement. Saidi said people should no more mourn Hindus fleeing the country than they would, “Mourn when we have indigestion and materials leave our body.” Choudhury outdid even Saidi, however, when he initiated a cyber-campaign to kill Prime Minister Hasina Wajed and her family. A senior police officer, who requested anonymity, traced emails demanding Hasina’s death to Choudhury and ordered his arrest. The Choudhury resume also neglects to note the criminal record of his A-21 TV partner and financier, Aziz Mohammed Bhai, a Mafia style mobster charged with international smuggling, drug dealing, and embezzling large sums from banks. Bhai is now a fugitive from the law.

Additionally, Bhai was a vehement Islamist. In 1998, long after the Bangladesh War of Independence ended, Bhai [pdf] murdered its the leading movie actor as an apostate, both for abandoning Islam, andfor openly criticizing war criminals responsible for atrocities against Bengalis. Choudhury worked closely with Bhai during that period. Some would even allege that through his deep involvement with Islamists his people, Choudhury drenched his own hands in blood.

His resume, however, plays upon naïve Western expectations that Choudhury's previous imprisonment resulted from service of high ideals as a champion of Western freedoms. But by engineering his second, 2003 arrest, Choudhury merely lead the world to believe in a totally fraudulent persona.

Despite what we now know of Choudhury's complete disrepute, Benkin has maintained the misleading resume on his blog, where he also splashes Choudhury’s name across a banner on the home page. The resume is written in perfect English and is well organized, differing from Choudhury’s primitive writing style, to be further discussed later. Did Benkin help Choudhury construct his duplicitous resume? By deadline, he had failed to answer an email inquiry on that point.

Benkin stated in a 2011 telephone interview with this reporter that he and Choudhury had linked up via the Internet. He claimed to reach out to Choudhury when the latter opened a blog called the WeeklyBlitz and started writing pro Israel articles.

Choudhury achieved celebrity status – apparently by strategically planning his own arrest in Bangladesh. His ruse was a pretense of trying to travel to Israel --- travel he knew well in advance that his country prohibited --- for a media conference. He then circulated the story of his airport arrest worldwide. That event immediately earned Choudhury sympathy and support as a journalist martyred while supporting Israel and free speech.

Except the entire episode was staged, as grows evident through close examination of the details.

Prior to the incident, Choudhury had reached out to Israeli conference organizer, Dr. Ada Aharoni, an internationally published writer who received a prestigious award from Simon Peres on September 4, 2012 for promoting peace initiatives through literature. Choudhury requested an invitation from Dr. Aharoni to speak at the 2003 event. That formality in hand, Choudhury then ensured that Bangladeshi officials learned of his pending departure --- and orchestrated publicity that in effect provoked his own arrest. He told Dr. Aharoni that he had informed Bangladesh officials of his planned departure and enlisted her help to contact Israeli officials to arrange a visa. Dr. Aharoni now reports to this writer that Choudhoury duped her into helping him launch his frauds. Naturally, she is angry.

As noted previously, Choudhury clearly knew that Bangladesh banned travel to Israel. Obviously, it would therefore have made the most sense to keep his planned trip quiet. However, he virtually shouted his “intentions” from his nation's minarets. Moreover, he carried provocative documents that he easily could have scanned into a computer and emailed to Israel.

When he was arrested, Choudhury wore a huge, smug smile. In addition to publicizing his illegal trip and holding material offensive to his government, he also apparently arranged for an associate to photograph and document his arrest and “martyrdom.” He counted on Dr. Aharoni's sympathies to further publicize his “plight” after his co-conspirator emailed her the photo. She thus fell into Choudhury's self-aggrandizing trap.

Choudhury sent Dr. Aharoni a flood of letters asking her to write to everyone she knew to help free him. She obliged. Then Benkin stepped in. He informed Dr. Ahroni that he would handle Choudhury's crisis going forward.

After clearing the stage of Dr. Aharoni, Benkin immediately publicized the Airport Drama. He wrote article after article on this seemingly brave and unfairly imprisoned and tortured friend to the Jewish people. He claimed that Choudhury faced execution for trying to visit Israel --- although Bangladesh fined him only $8.00 and the charges were not pursued. Soon a large segment of the Jewish world rose up in protest, granting Choudhury full support --- again --- all through the Internet. But Choudhury's purported abuse --- minor, at that --- was entirely his own creation.

Legions of Jewish writers, still in shock from the attacks of 9/11 and hoping to discover a Muslim friend somewhere, anywhere, rose in Choudhury's defense following Benkin's lead. All information rested on Benkin's written assertions. He was trusted --- foolishly, in hindsight --- simply by virtue of his Jewish persuasion.
Benkin’s Multiple Deceptions About His Relationship With Choudhury

Regarding Choudhury, Benkin's many untruths have now been exposed. In a November 2010 interview with Washington Bangla Radio (subsequently deleted from the internet), Benkin claimed that in 2003 he had barely known Choudhury and was surprised to learn of his arrest.

In contradiction, however, Benkin in a June 15, 2011 phone interview told this reporter, that while the 2003 speech Choudhury had been scheduled to deliver in Israel appears under his name, he (Benkin) personally wrote it. He also wrote a Nov. 16, 2003 op-ed in The Daily Star, the largest English language newspaper in Bangladesh, arguing for a change in national policy towards Israel, less than two weeks before Choudhury’s Nov. 29 planned departure. The timing certainly suggests that theirs was a coordinated effort. While the overt sentiment was laudable---not unlike purporting to care for sick people in a nursing home --- Benkin nevertheless seems deceptively to have claimed he had not known Choudhury well.

An Oct. 2003 essay, ostensibly by Choudhury, also reads more like the polished, somewhat academic style of Benkin, not the fractured English of Choudhury. Following, please find a sample paragraph from the 2003 article:

We must admit that most of the people of Bangladesh still lack the opportunity for modern, scientific education and are therefore open to persuasion by religious extremists. In recent years there has been a strong upsurge in activities of religious extremist groups in a number of countries, including Bangladesh. Recently, law enforcement agencies in Bangladesh have captured members of quite a number of such groups in various parts of the country. These were operating under the umbrella of "Islamic Kindergarten Madrassas" or madrassas financed by Afro-Arab organizations. Islamic Kindergarten Madrassas are supposed to be innocent institutions where young boys learn the elements of Islamic faith, but these madrassas have a different program.

The style of a paragraph from Benkin's blog appears identical.

Since beginning my efforts to save the Hindus of Bangladesh from that nation's “quiet case of ethnic cleansing,” the major thrusts of my efforts have been designed to bring this human rights atrocity to the attention of many and gain credibility for my own actions. While much work still remains in that respect, we have made tremendous strides in having the issue recognized by people heretofore unaware of what is happening to Hindus in Bangladesh and how it is part of the greater movement of international jihad; 2013 can be the year in which Bangladesh's leaders are forced to decide between the following two options: either stop enabling and tacitly approving of the ethnic cleansing of Hindus; or face exposure of your murderous duplicity and crippling sanctions.

Now consider Choudhury's style as of June 12, 2012, without benefit of Benkin's grammatical polish.

“According to an intelligence reports, Bangladesh Awami League, which got a sweeping majority in the December 2008 general election, is destined to facing massive electoral catastrophe, while at least 150 seats, which are currently held by the ruling party men are going to slip away from their grips. It may be mentioned here that, Bangladesh Awami League got 266 seats during the 2008 election, thus giving it the huge command over the National Parliament. But such huge popularity or mandate of the voters in favor of the ruling party started getting dented when the student's wing of Bangladesh Awami League established reign of terror in most of the campuses in the country, within weeks of the formation of government by the ruling party.”

Equally important, the purported, self-described human rights activist Choudhury has heavily incorporated his former hatred of the Awami League --- the sole Bangladesh political party standing for educational, economic, political and social equanimity for Hindus. As this writer noted previously, in [pdf] 1999 his government imprisoned Choudhury for his cyber campaign (fortunately unsuccessful) inciting the murder of the Awami League leader.

Again, Benkin claims not to have known Choudhury very well in 2003. But his actions indicate that he knew Choudhury quite well, well enough to write a speech for him and an op-ed promoting his putative cause. In short, Benkin very possibly helped Choudhury engineer his own 2003 arrest and rise to international fame.

Bangladeshi-American anti-Islamist activist Jamal Hasan reported that Benkin told him he had verified Choudhury’s resume. In particular, Benkin cited to Hasan, in a 2007 email, Choudhury’s prior work for the former USSR news agency, Tass,

“As to my brother, Shoaib, I did quite a lot of homework. …People point to repeated allegations [against him] as if to say they are evidence of some sort of truth. With respect to Shoaib, those I have investigated are not. For instance, he has provided names and dates for the Tass employment, which I have checked out correct.” (sic)

In June 2011 Tass (info@itar-tass.com) spokeswoman Lora Potopova confirmed in an email and subsequent phone conversation with this reporter that the wire service never had a bureau in Bangladesh, and had no record of employ for Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury --- as a stringer or otherwise. Potopova reported that her thorough search of all Tass branches found no trace of Choudhury or a Tass office in Bangladesh. In short, when he claimed to have vetted Choudhury’s history with Tass, Benkin lied. The only open question: Had Benkin learned the truth, but lied anyway?

“I had quite a few telephone conversations with [Benkin] regarding the SC issue before I met Benkin on Capitol Hill,” Hasan wrote in a recent email to this investigator. Hasan continued,

“I tried to convince him in many ways that SC could not be trusted. He was continuously defending this con man. Benkin definitely knew all along he was promoting a devil. Benkin even compared SC with Walid Shoebat. In reality SC is not even equal to Walid's foot… Benkin is simply a low life creature not better than SC.” (emphasis added.)

Jamal Hasan is one of several distinguished Bangladeshi American activists contacted during investigations for this piece. Like others in his esteemed circle, he repeatedly tried to warn Benkin that Choudhury was a phony. Promoting Choudhury would be “a disaster down the road, akin to setting up Osama bin Laden as a humanist,” one respected Hindu American professor warned Benkin, who brushed him off. Indeed, each source reports, to a man, that Benkin literally and publicly turned his back on them and rudely and maliciously arranged to silence their voices at a key conference.

Benkin not only refused to learn from Bengali natives familiar with Choudhury, his past and the country with which he was newly involved. He also ignored a many Bangladeshi free thinkers and anti-Islamists, including Mukto-Mona and Faith Freedom writers --- none of them previously Islamists, unlike Choudhury. According to a Bangladeshi journalist, almost every major newspaper in Bangladesh routinely writes against militant Islam and the issue of establishing relations with Israel is discussed in many publications in Bangladesh. Benkin infuriated all his genuine free thinking Muslim contacts there, however, by conversely and broadly presenting Choudhury as the only Muslim in that Bangladesh who did not hate Jews and Christians.

While Choudhury likes to hold himself out as the only Muslim Zionist in the world, it just is not so. A group called the International Council of the Root and Branch Association was established under Italian Sheikh Prof. Abdul Hadi Palazzi in 1997, back when Choudhury was busy being an Islamist. Choudhury joined the group but was ejected when his defrauding of two of his followers came to light.

Again in hindsight, Benkin can only have intended his deception to make his interactions with Choudhury appear spectacular. The duo duped mainstream media. They posed as heroes, and raked in dozens of news mentions --- and in their wake, speaking engagements and money.

Benkin ignored complaints that his golden boy was lewd and larcenous. Celine Leduc, the first to mount an Internet petition to free Choudhury, in 2005 informed Benkin that Choudhury insisted on cyber sex with her. Benkin scoffed at her objections and responded, “He’s my brother.” Similarly, when this writer reported that Choudhury had swindled a huge sum, Benkin replied, “Just don’t try to break us up. My career began in 2003 [with Shoaib].” (emphasis added) Indeed, Benkin did begin his career with Shoaib’s arrest; without it he would simply have been an insurance salesman and a disgraced, former owner of a dangerous unlicensed Medicaid/Medicare mill.

A Hindu writer claims that Benkin has entered the racket of extorting Hindus.

“...Dr. Benkin is continuing extortion in India in the name of his works [for] Bangladeshi Hindus and migrated Hindus in India. ... since 2007, Dr. Benkin has collected more than 50 thousand dollars from Hindus in India with the promise of raising their issues with US Congress, Senate and other high offices. Poor and destitute Hindus were even seen offering money to Dr. Benkin by selling their lands, as Benkin [had] promised … them [to get back] their [confiscated] properties back...Bangladesh government, … [seized] in 1947 under Vested Property Act. Dr. Benkin is making money by selling his contacts with a few American Congress and Senate members. He also is collecting huge amount of extortion from Hindus in West Bengal through a number of [his personally appointed] agents... Such illegal activities by this American are continuing under the umbrella of Interfaith Strength and [Benkin's] Forcefield.” (emphasis added.)

The Choudhury – Benkin team broke up in September, 2010; Choudhury accused the latter of extorting poor Hindus to “help” them --- and owing him a large sum for publishing Benkin’s book. Similarly, Benkin suggested that Choudhury’s purportedly ongoing trial had been dropped. Choudhury then denounced Benkin in his newspaper. Did, perhaps, the idealistic “brothers” split over money?

Increasingly, the self-styled “Muslim Zionist” who catapulted Benkin to temporary fame appears a complete fraud, dangerous to our national security. Choudhury has perpetrated numerous crimes. In March 2010, his swindle of at least two female Jewish supporters earned Choudhury a New York City charge of Grand Larceny via Fraud. He wrote a counterfeit check, maintains a website flagged as a scam, and publishes Islamist articles, readily available for all to read. Worse, Choudhury's online Weekly Blitz has published some 100 articles containing North Korean propaganda. Choudhury’s criminal activities include extortion of Dominica's Prime Minister. Choudhury also bolsters his gross income through an online East Asia brothel and escort service guide. Never mind that, in 2003, the free world rushed to protect Chourdhury and his newspaper as genuine human rights advocates.

Only via Benkin’s promotion did Choudhury, previously a small time Bangladesh crook, gain the opportunity and means to inflict enormous harm on international victims.
Did Benkin Know About Choudhury’s Frauds?

Given Benkin's prior involvement in shady enterprise --- the con-driven Lexington Nursing & Rehabilitation Center --- very likely Benkin recognized Choudhury as a con man. If so, also in keeping with abuses of nursing home clients and taxpayers funding their inadequate care --- did Benkin knowingly sponsor Choudhury for personal gain?

After all, Benkin previously played the hero to vulnerable souls – first homeless, drug addicted and elderly people. Then to fellow Jews, through support of a fraudulent “Muslim Zionist.” Now, he plays “hero” to impoverished Hindus, allegedly bilking them of grand sums they can little afford.

Clearly, Hindus in Bangladesh and India richly deserve relief from relentless Islamic persecution. Their plight surely deserves more attention. But whether Richard Benkin is a genuinely helpful person – who will not exploit them – is an inescapable question. Clearly, his activities should be investigated.

jesa baap wesa beta............acha shikar kia hai bilawal..hahhaha.BTW burhi ghori laal lagam(at HINA or HINO)

The Bangladeshi tabloid, BLITZ is not stopping from publishing numerous stories on this issue. The editor of this newspaper, who is accused of being an agent of MOSSAD, wrote a commentary titled PPP IS FALLING DOWN MY FAIR HINA. Being a female, I am not entertained reading such stuff. But, unfortunately, most of the materials of BLITZ related to Pakistani FM Hina Rabbani Khar and PPP leader Bilawal Bhutto is going viral yet. Indian media in particular are giving huge treatment of such items, which has already turned the once obscure BLITZ into a famous tabloid.

Bro It's Not Just Weekly Blitz It's All Over The Net.This Has Even Been Reported By Pakistan Times

RUMOUR?? Bilawal Bhutto weds Hina Rabbani Khar | Pakistan Times

Yes, the scoop was first leaked by once obscure tabloid in Bangladesh named BLITZ, although now that obscure tabloid has become famous due to massive coverage given to it by Indian media.

I can see, BLITZ is not stopping from publishing negative materials on Pakistan. On its current issue, BLITZ published a report titled 'ISI RUNNING SEX RACKET TO TRAP POLITICIANS', alhtough I am not sure of the genuinity of the contents.

.
My question is why would MOSSAD use a Bangladeshi website to slander the Pakistan FM? Is anyone in Pakistan even reading the Blitz? How many Pakistanis actually know about this alleged scandal?

Well, to reply to your question, if you saw, Ms. Hina Rabbani Khar's husband, Mr. Feroze Gulzar submitted an application to Pakistani Federal Investigation Agency seeking call records of his wife, just within hours of BLITZ carrying the first report titled HIGH PROFILE ROMANCE IN PAKISTAN EXPOSED. At that time, Indian media did not yet cover this item. So, surely, people in Pakistan read this Bangladeshi tabloid.

I went to ALEXA to check readership of BLITZ and was surprised seeing, it has large number of readers for its online edition. Who knows, if there also is hand of MOSSAD is giving prominence to this newspaper.

But, one of the very latest reports in BLITZ is informative enough. Here is the report:

500 Buddhist artifacts looted from CHT in Bangladesh
