At PMA Kakul....

Not just that, look at Kyani's smile and joy at this moment. It seems Gen. Kyani is more happy to meet him than Zaid :p

A person who "Bucks up" the army is always welcome. ;)
However, for all his factual eccentricities.. Mr Hamid has played a positive role in a sense just as IK had by giving them a target and motive. The destination may not be fruitful or constructive.. but the journey inculcates a sense of unity and organization.
After all, here is a cause for Jihad where both you and your girlfriend are invited
Better than falling prey to banned organizations such as Hizb-ut-Tahrir.

lol @ the GF part. Well, it's always has been his emphasis that he is JUST preaching, you can take it or leave it. Never found him or his team extremists. Once someone raised this question to him that you talk about Islam yet you have mixed gathering in your events, his answer was satisfying, he said, the culture now has influenced youth very much, and it's better to take out the bigger evil from the society before we can proceed to smaller evils. Justified stance to me.

You can't enforce Sharia'ah overnight, first you need to put in place a environment.

One thing I always liked about is that, unlike other Religious figures, although he's not exactly a religious figure, still, he never tried to divide the society in two, like our liberal and religious extremists do. I find him very moderate!

Hi,

The important gesture to see in this picture is the way Kayani is shaking his hand with Zaid Hamid. Using both hands......that is only done when you are very fond of someone...when you hold the person in high regard...in high respect...as a dear friend.

Now....if we look at the reality....Gen Kayani is the supreme commander of Pakistan Armed forces. Probably the most important guy in the nation. We are a culture bred in the 'Hierarchy' system.....elders and those in higher positions are referred to as sir..with respect.

But Kayani seems to be in a superior position......but he is shaking hand with Zaid Hamid as if Zaid was some previous 4 star General.

All i mean is...that there is probably some very deep link between the army and Zaid Hamid....and if Kayani is showing that with his hand shake......then you know it is true.

Long story short, by looking at the way Kayani is looking at Zaid Hamid and shaking his hand, shows that Kayani is very 'pleased' to meet him.

Not that i am very dumb but isnt Zaid Hamid the guy who believes that god has ordained that Pakistan defeat India in war and that somehow- miraculously 1 Pakistani Muslim = 10 Hindus and whatnot?
And further believes in Islamization of Pakistan instead of Secularization? And you think he is good for Pakistan?

.
Zaid Hamid is awesome. We need more Pakistani nationalists like him :pakistan:

Yes.. I agree.. :cheesy:

And he expects Pakistan to be on the moon in next 2.5 years, controlling all the major decisions in the world ;)
