Making buffalo dung pathhies same as shown in op picture is common practice even in villages all over punjab pakistan, perhaps to some extent in other provinces also. The dried pathhies are then used as fuel for burning. I remember I used to burn the pathhies in my childhood to turn them into burning ash and then fire the Huqqa of my grandfather.

Are you serious? Who put ash in Huqqa? Coals / Woods are used in Huqqa which keep burning for long not the patthies who turn into ashes very fast.

.
I am of the opinion that a hindu should never be ashamed of his culture...cow urine is very pure according to our sacred texts...drinking it or using it as such is highly recommended in our religion...this may seem as another poster put it... backward or disgusting...dont blame him for thinking like that...but so is killing an animal and eating it...not just talking about cows here but all animals like fish ,poultry etc...but if some holy texts say its ok to do that...and those who do come in that culture and follow that particular holy book...its fine by me...but i am not the one to shy away from saying something if i believe in something just because people from other culture will ridicule my belief...nor do i take sides and bat for it...this includes my very own nation as well...if i see my country doing something which i think is not right i say so openly...my posts here in the recent past are testament to that...but at least i made some one laugh out aloud today with my post...that is a good thing :D

Which sacred text highly recommends cow's urine for drinking

.
Food cooked in fire using cow dung is very tasty...we still use it in my area...also washing your face in ko mathas urine before sunrise on every friday and leaving it for one hour without washing gives relief from balck magic...not permanent but you will get small relief... and your face will become bright better than any makeup....sprinkling the urine all over the house also wards off evil spirits...if living in city then replace cow mathas urine with sea water...same effect.
Man u r disgusting.

ash is to cover the coals, you don't put too many coals, only several coals and then cover it with ash. Wood ash can be used too.

Nope, not when consuming the excretory waste matter of another living animal is a transcultural taboo and against nature's intentions for homo sapiens. This is why there are only carnivores, herbivores and omnivores- but no shittivores

As evidential as can be, Hindus in the subcontinent are the only ones practicing this disgusting habit; not even straw skirt-donning savages in Africa or some isolated island in the pacific does this.

Thx.

Real Black magic was used to defeat Anglo-Imperialists back when you people were serving the british.
You people have the wrong idea about what it really is and stood for thanks to some misconceptions spread by goray suwars.

Indians smack the dung patties right on each others face instead of a wall, they then walk around for 2-3 days with dung patties on their faces, this is what Abinandhan had on his face which we mistook for a mustache.

I do understand your thought process...likewise its not so alien to have a thought process that looks at eating the organs that produce that excreta as not ok ...i dont know if its practiced in your region or culture but people do eat the parts where this excreta is formed...like i said earlier different culture following a very different path...i dont claim to know it nor do i have adequately understanding of it to call it as undesirable...but to me you coming from a different culture its perfectly ok that you call us as shit eaters....dont mind it all.

No, Coals are not covered with Ashes - The ashes in Huqqah are when coal is burned. I never saw someone putting patthies in Huqqah, that literally will be smoking sh!t.

I would say that you are somewhat mistaken, here. Both coals and cow dung patties were used in Huqqa, at least, in Punjab, and quite a common practice. Generally, when these patties were used, the layers in the receptacle (Topi) of Huqqa, from bottom to top, would be:

1) A piece of jaggery (gurh)
2) Tobacco lumps
3) Patties, broken
4) A few pieces of burning coal, on top

what you've described are called animal https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Offal and they are anatomical parts of an animal. Nature has intended them as a source of protein for us homo sapien omnivores who consume both plants and animal parts.

Excretory waste matter of an animal is NOT an organ or flesh of an animal and Nature has never intended for us Humans to subsist on them- urine or feces.

Hindus(and vegans) are not only going against Nature's wish for how we should be maintaining ourselves nutriciously, but are also taking a step further by drinking/eating the waste matter of animals.

This is absurd and ridiculous, no matter how u paint it as holy it is.

Well at-least in my circle of Punjab, I didn't saw anyone using.

So killing the animal and cleaning the shit out from the organ and cooking it with masala and onions is ok in your culture...ok its not something i dont agree with...different culture and a different path...to each his own.

Excretory waste matter of an animal is NOT an organ or flesh of an animal and Nature has never intended for us Humans to subsist on them- urine or feces.

we dont substitute it as a food...few drops only its consumed...just like a medicine...and there are people who drink it by a glass full...i never did nor do i know of someone who did it in my life...so cant comment.

your opinion which i respect even though i dont agree with it.

like i said before i dont mind .

brother, it could be different in your area, where i grew up we also use pathi (papadhi) ashes or wood ashes to cover the coals, very similar to what @RIWWIR said in his comment above.

Well, in our case it was mitti ki thikri with small holes in it at number 3 to separate tobbaco from coals.
