You cant fight india with a weak economy ...

It is not about the economy-Stupid.

In wars, the belief in God, the moral values, right and wrong counts(on the right side of the history)...when was the last time Talibans had the riches and a good economy.

. .
I think the title of this thread is a fallacy. You do not want to fight a war ever if you can avoid it, whether you have a good economy or not. The decision to go to war (I am not saying there is a need for this at this time) is not made solely on the basis of economic performance. Yes we are over-leveraged and a war will make us even more over-leveraged, but is it worth it?

The simple logic around the economy goes, if it is good then why ruin it?

I do not think Pakistan or India want a war, but when the back is against the wall, nobody is thinking about the "economy". In war time, every resource that the country generates can be employed in support of the war effort and Pakistan has a lot of resources to do so.

Yes, this means less going to public sector, health and education, but in times of war, there is something even more important than all of the other things and that is survival and ensuring ones national interests are preserved.

Fighting an open war would be a mistake for both sides, as such Pakistan will have to chart a course which continues to provide the right kind of support to the Kashmiris regardless of Indian moves.

With Modi and the Hindutuva gangs at the helms, does Pak exactly require anything else vis-a-vis India?!?!!

I wonder if Muslims always thought that Economy gave them domination and not Allah

I wonder where were those Allah fearing Muslims when the Zionists turned the world to a fiat money based economy? Did they (the Muslims you speak of) purposefully ignore the Devine Law that Riba is Haram? Did they (those God fearing Muslims you tout) not remember that those who consume Riba, you give Riba, those who record Riba transactions and the witnesses to such transactions are all "Cursed" by our beloved Nabi Muhammad Alaihi Salaat-u-Wassalam? And those who are cursed by a Prophet of Allah Subhanahu Wata'aalah, are doomed. Where were your God fearing Muslims when they (Arabs) bent over backwards for their Zionist masters to sell all their only in American dollars?

We are in debt and our economy is ruins to the point that we struggle to pay off the debt, FACT.

We had democracy and we elected a bunch of narcissistic bastard$ who plundered this country's wealth shamelessly, FACT.

We have been in existence for 72 years and instead of establishing concrete measures to create a true state based on the principles of Nabi Muhammad Alaihi Salaat-u-Wassalam. We have become a nation of jackasse$ who spend more time bollywood worshipping, white skin adoring, trying to be hip and squandering every opportunity to study the Holy Quran and build our Imaan. So today, when we find ourselves in a quagmire, we have ended up with Jahil Mullah mentality Pakistanis, degree holding liberal turds or affluent modern morons who think the west is the way to go.

Essentially we have nothing to show for except chest thumping on the single state institution that managed to remain professional and do it's job. You think that happened by accident? What have we Pakistanis actually done to show that we are Ummis? Nothing, ZERO, ZILCH, NADA!!!

So forgive me when I say this, but most Pakistanis have no clue at all or any foresight about or an iota of intuition to figure out what the Indians have done or how to respond to them.

All I hear is loud mouthing, emotionally charged rants. Nothing of substance and nothing that is becoming and befitting a MUSLIM.

Ma'assalaamah!

Why cant you be merciful to them?

The first thing that people need to do is to stop frothing at the mouth.

Okay, they have made a policy change. Nobody could stop them from "making" policy changes. However making a policy and implementing one are two different things and that is the space where the Kashmiris will have to play their part and Pakistan will help to counter this policy. How that happens will emerge over the next many months and years.

Well they had the State of Pakistan right behind them & trust me if it wasn’t for this support they would have long ago made peace with the West & whatever is in between.
The question that you should be asking is whether the indigenous population of Kashmir would show a similar resolve if they had the same support provided to them ?

They haven’t so far & I doubt they will in the future.

You simply can not organise a resistance without solid, stubborn, ruthless local support & participation.

It's hard when the populace is disarmed and forcefully subjugated by 7 lakh occupying force. If Kashmiris were armed to the teeth, Indians wouldn't dare enter Kashmir.

The boys here are pretty hysterical tbh.
They were all jumping up & down when Trump said those words sitting next to IK & they are all losing their senses over this declaration by RSS.

With their level of excitement I doubt they would hit a target 10 yards away if they had to.

True. But this wasn’t always the case.
1948, 65, 71 & 99. More than enough don’t you think ?

1948 was the best chance but the biggest difference is that the Taliban always had a strong gun culture and were ruthless authoritarian people who would do whatever it takes to kick out invaders.

Yep. The willingness to fight on has always been the difference between Freedom & occupation.

Wars never won by having huge economies, it's won by emotions, and sacrifices Vietnam is a super example of tht??

.
To all Pakistanis, who are haling future American withdrawal as a Taliban victory.

A reverse phycological question for you.

If you were to declare war on India and India captured entire Pakistan(very improbable but lets assume for argument's sake) .
India installed a puppet goverment and ruled Pakistan for next 20 years. There are pockets of resistance and guerilla fighting. But 90 percent, who die, are Pakistanis.

Finally one day, India decides, ruling Pakistan is not worth their resources and decides to leave of its own accord.

Would you claim that Pakistan won that war?

Because, that is what exactly Taliban won.
