Unfortunately it looks to be the case.
Till now, the powerful Establishment seems to be quite successful, in cornering IK/PTI.
There haven't been any prominent non punjabi corp commanders from the Pukhtoon community as of late and a very few non-punjabis. Sahir Shamshad is only exception in the recent years. So, yes overwhelmingly a Punjabi dominated Mil-establishment.Isn't Mil-Establishment basically a Punjab centric Establishment. Army rather...where are the Sindhis, Balochis, Baltis, Kashmiris in Pak Army. Yes there are a big numbers of Pashtuns, could be 25% of the Army lower rank and file.
And prejudiced against other ethnicities with biases.
They showed this dislike and the attitude ' they are lower class' to Bengalis as well, this is intrinsic, looks as though.

If this is the case, there is no hope for any improvement and there are no surprises why the Mil Establsihment is so dead against PTI in general and Imran Khan in particular.
Perfect recipe for a disaster.

And that's why there's so much indifference to the plight of Karachi under perpetual PPP/wadera destruction, or to KPK or Balochistan under constant attack from various militants. As long as the Punjabi heartland is relatively safe and sound, the hell with the rest of the country.
Looks like the ethnic nationalists were right all along.
