The Indians have Brahmos only if the Russians keep supplying the engines. When the Russians cut off the engine supply or want a lot more money, the Indians are out of luck.

That is what you think.. if the Russians ever try something detrimental to our national security we will simply reverse engineer it and produce our own version.

If China can do it, so can we.

But reverse engineering equals "Copying",that's what the Indians call it.You sure you can do it? cause you lots find it ungenuine/unethical.

Reverse engineering military items are by no means easy. The Chinese have a lot of experience in that field. The Indians just don't cut into that area.

What's the big deal! the Indians have Brahmos.

Which has serious disadvantages in flight profile, evasive abilities, and targeting when compared to subsonic YJ-81/82/83/85 series, YJ-62, or Harpoon.

And nowhere as near as the DF-21D in terms of speed and range.

I'm wondering if JH-7/A is good for Paksitan coast defense?...equiped with this YJ-91 & extend with infly refueling, pakistan can extend a big sea area coverage protection.
