Mashhad means place of martyrdom.
That is another meaning but the original meaning is place of martyrdom of Imam Reza (a) by Tazis. Not in arabic, it does not. It is derived from 'Mashaahid' which means sights/scenes.
Basra was a great city before Arab invasion and it has Persian origin.LOL, Arabized and militarily, religiously, culturally and linguistically conquered Farsi, Baghdad (as in previous SEMITIC) settlements predated your 2500 year old entity with MILLENNIA!
You mean Babylon? The ancient Semitic World Unesco Heritage Site that has ZERO to do with an 2500 year old entity like Iran but predates it by 3000 years!
Fact of the matter is that there are ZERO big fat ZERO cities of Farsi origin in the ENTIRE Arab world but in Iran there are 100's of cities of Arab origin just in Al-Ahwaz alone!
Qom is of Arabic origin.
YOUR OWN NONSENSE IRANIC ONLINE HAHA:
Vvery few biographical dates known about Ḥasan b. Moḥammad Qomi. One such date is the year of the completion of his work that is, 378/988-89, although Ḥosayn Modarresi Ṭabāṭabāʾi (p. 12) has argued that the year 379/989-90 is the correct date. Ḥasan was an Arab of Yemeni origin and a descendant of the Ašʿari family that had ruled the city in the past.

Lie some more my Arabized troll.
Al-Basra is a 1400 year old city founded by ARABS from Hijaz and is an ARABIC name. As are 100% of its citizens.
The city was called by many names throughout its history, Basrah being the most common. In Arabic the word baṣrah means "the overwatcher", which might have been an allusion to the city's origin as an Arab military base against the Sassanids. Others have argued that the name is derived from the Aramaic word basratha, meaning "place of huts, settlement".[4]

Bro artillery shell dont fly 200 kms to.abha airportBrother, that is if you believe Houthi terrorist cult propaganda. It was nothing more than an artillery shell hence the zero damages and no casualties. Nothing to worry about whatsoever. Airport was working 1 hour after.
yesterday you said all these weapons are not battle proven..Video from 10 hours ago. Everything working perfectly, lol. Some artillery shell but good that it was milked to give the two satanic cancers (Houthis and Irnian Wilayat al-Faqih regime) more bad publicity and expose them of deliberately targeting civilians.
Strong responses from allies and the world.

I think Saudis can defeat the houthis militarily however they losing the information war and that is worrying.
Saudis members need to dissect the beliefs of houthis to the wider Muslim world. That'll slowly take away any sympathy the average Muslim has for the houthis.
This conflict is not much impactful other than for Yemen (only parts of it too) and the direct border regions of KSA. It is a spillover effect of the Yemeni civil war. It is not really religious in nature as Yemenis are not sectarian people. It is a war between evil and good and a far of a usurper cult (Houthis) and the legitimate government. Otherwise this war would look differently. In any case Houthis are desperate hence those fire crackers. They have admitted that they have not many options left so this is some of their "strongest" attacks to date.
Yeh I know, I don't have anything against Yemeni zaidis.
But these houthis, as you say, are something else totally. With their leader and his father being taught in Iran etc... The types of beliefs these people have, that alone will make them lose sympathy in the wider Muslim world. I honestly thought houthis were "normal" zaidis too until I read about them from a cool Iranian dude on twitter.
Bro, the Houthis ALREADY had a movement and ideology before Iran decided to be their "senior consultant in Jihad". Iran- Houthi relationship is more of a partnership than a proxy relationship imo. Iran didnt create the Houthis or decide their direction(at least until recently IF) so i think its some Iran haters who want to make the Houthis look like a complete tool of Iran and they are not.Yeh I know, I don't have anything against Yemeni zaidis.
