Yemen unviels Borkan-2 (Volcano-2) Ballistic missile.

One of the poorest country in the middle east is stepping it missile technology and emerging as a powerful resistance force in the region. After the successful test of Borkan-1 Ballistic missile the country's Media has stated that Yemen has successfully developed Borkan-2 Ballistic missile. The Borkan-2 is said to have a range of 1400 km and is equipped with an interception avoiding smart warhead. The previous launch showed that the Borkan-1 Ballistic missile successfully targeted a military base in the city of Riyadh in it's test launch. The Borkan-2 is said to cover 80% of KSA and is equipped with smart war head technology.

The country has threatened that if KSA continues it's current path of airstrikes on Yemeni civilians, the country will retaliate with striking the military bases with in KSA with it's advance missile technology. The new weapon in the inventory of Yemeni Army has placed USA and KSA officials in concern. The Yemeni army which has joined forces with houti rebels have claimed that it has been developing advance missile technology for decades and has claimed to have more advanced missile systems that will put world in shock. The latest development of new missile system emerging in the war torn country has placed military experts around the world thinking about the development. KSA was quick to blame Iran in providing the country with the technology but US officials were not convinced as the missile technology being used by the Yemeni army is of Russian origin. They think that Yemeni Army has reversed engineered the cold war era Scud systems and they have improved the range, accuracy, and Payload capacity of these missiles.

The source further added that Yemeni Army might have a advance and modified version of P-20 missile a Soviet anti ship missile which sold to Yemeni Army by Soviet union. It is believed that the recent missile strike on a Saudi Naval Vessel by Houthi rebels was one of the advanced version of P-20 missile (Chinese name silkworm). The source claimed that Yemeni army modified the missile with RADAR guidance and wings to make a land variant of the missile. "one can take this missile as a land launched anti ship cruise missile"

Iran?? Iran is not that advance you can say that Yemen is providing Iran with the technology and that might be believable because it was difficult for Iran as it was under sanctions but Yemen was a free country with no sanctions.

Plus, We just saw the firing of the missile but we still never know where it hit, Saleh has some Russian/NKorean ballistic missiles that he has been using against Saudi Arabia, but I highly doubt he can develop one on his own.

It's really hard for any sane person to believe such allegations unless there is concrete evidence to back them.

Look man you people are acting like Indians when they say all Pakistani missiles are developed by China. Okay leave the criticism aside lets look it technically. Iran was under sanctions Yemen was not and it is the yemeni army using rockets not Huothis. Yemen received missiles from China, North Korea and Russia for decades when they were not at war with Saudis. Plus also provided Yemen Army with weapons to fight Al-Qaida under Bush administration if Yemen in war with the KSA now is a different story. Interception avoiding warhead I doubt Iran has it. The tweet I linked was retweeted CISI the missile threat reporter and Houthis are developing missiles the entire world knows it.

Sir with due respect Yemeni have to show the launch and Saudis have to show the hit. Provide Yemen with earth Imagery satellite and they will also show you the hit as well. but the point is Yemen rebels cannot do it but Saleh with army can.

I reported a story, I have not said they fired or launched the missile but just displayed what is wrong with providing a news. If mods want to close this thread I have no objection but it is worth discussion may be you experts find the source of missiles with facts rather than just blames and that will help you more.

of course Yemenis have the right to defend and KSA attacked them without any provocation and KSA is the clear aggressor and that is whole Pakistani nation voted against joining KSA in their unjust war against Yemen and ready to pay the price but here the question is where did Yemenis get these missiles from and it is very simple that they cannot make such missiles so most probably those have been provided by Iran to them..very simple..it is not quantum mechanics to figure out who gave them those missiles.
