Yatagan Sword (Head Scissors)

I bought a Katana from Spain, from Netherlands i came to Turkey with it. Just wrapped it to my bag and together give them to cargo. No problems.

My travel-mate also bought a katana from Belarus, at customs they caused a lil'bit headache in İstanbul :) I think the best solution is having it via cargo.

Yatagan is a village of Denizli city, they still produce very beatifull swords and knifes with good prices.

Some of them for ornaments

Nice to see some of those websites providing information on type of steel used in construction of swords, most of them are laser cut from steel plates and given an edge.. Not much smithing..

This is true, the sword culture is still very much alive and reviving there. There are big plans to make the town a historical centre.
