I like Xiaomi 3 but some reviews on youtube say it gets over-heated.

Yes, it still have some technical problems, even system halted during testing. But a relatively lower price with such configuration is an advantage.

I understand but it should have some degree of reliability, I was really looking forward to it perhaps i'll wait a couple of months when things are sorted out so i can proceed with the purchase.

I have on my list Xiaomi/Meizu/ZTE/Sammy Note III [no HTC or Sony] but think I can live without another phone for a few months more before I get Android and Win Phone each.

So, I won't recommend Meizu, never consider it...

Lenovo K900 is a good choice. Lenovo is more reliable I think, though its PC is more famous than phone.

I have officially switched my smart phones to domestic brands...

I started using I-phone 1 when it just got released in the U.K and 3 years later switched to HTC, Blackberry and Sumsang..

but this year when I moved back to China, I was shocked by the fact that domestic brands like vivo, Meizu, Xiaomi and many more unheard brands took 70% of the world's largest smart phone market````even though I was suspicious about the features and quality of domestic ones,

it all ended when I started using home made phones, and now I am using vivo X1st
dual sim
4.7 inch screen
1280*720 pix
android os 4.2
16BG
8 million reso
1 GB ram
and it only costs like half of Samsung, HTC or apple with similar features

and so far it runs like silky smooth

and the draw backs are speaker voice isn't up to my expectation, and it is too slim appears kind of feminine

Isnt HTC Chinese?

Topic:

I think a lot of companies could do better if they just ran stock android, and let it update when the nexus devices do.
