Xi Jinping, the President of China is emerging as a very powerful leader of the world. The world has seen many great leaders from China butMai Zedong may be the most powerful one.

China, under the leadership of Xi Jinping has come up with a more aggressive foreign policy. The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) is the cornerstone of the new foreign policy. The BRI is an ambitious project which promises to reach 4.4 billion people connecting Asia, Africa and Europe.

Since the end of cold war, US has propagated a unified world order . The US presidents have always had great interference in global affairs. However, in November, 2016, the American people choose Mr. Donald Trump as the President.

Ironically, Mr. Trump came up with an inward rhetoric under the mantra of “America first.” This means US will be taking less part in global affairs which is already proving to be true. Mr. Trump backed out of the biggest trade agreement Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) that was negotiated by President Obama. President Trump also stepped out of the Paris accord. The list keeps adding up as US announced quitting from the United Nations’ (UN) cultural agency UNESCO.

The President of China Mr. Xi Jinping has left no stone unturned to present China as the leader of the new world. The vacuum the US is creating has provided China with a huge opportunity to present itself as a new leader.

Mr. Xi Jinping said at World Economic Forum or At Davos in January 2017 that China is ready to shoulder global politics and trade liberalization. He reiterated his plans in G 20 Summit in July, BRICS Summit in September and also at SCO Summit.

American presidents have had great views about the Chinese presidents, Richard Nixon told Mao Zedong that his writings had “changed the world.” Jimmy Charter described Deng Xiaoping as smart, intelligent, frank, and courageous. Bill Clinton termed Jiang Zemin as a visionary.

Importantly Mr. Trump acknowledged Xi Jinping as the most powerful leader of China. China seems to be the only possible contender to the US’s worldwide superiority.

China’s economy is only second to the US and with the US protectionist plan; China may take over the US’s economy sooner than expected. China’s military is also expanding at a great pace.

This year China opened the country’s first foreign military base, in Djibouti. China also sent the Chinese navy on exercises beyond afield, included one in NATO’s doorstep in the Baltic Sea alongside Russia’s fleet. Mr Xi jinping has maintained that China will not invade any country and its military expansion is for the sole purpose of defence.

On 18th October, in the 19th communication party convention, Xi Jinping ‘s position is expected to be solidified further. He has a strong grip over the political domain. He is often compared with the legend of China. Mao Zedong. However, Mao’s China had a crippling state and low international perspective. However, Mr. Xi’s China is powerful with great say in the international arena.

Some experts find it troubling to see a single man dominating so much as China is an authoritarian state. They believe no one should have that much power. It may lead to volatility like the instability China suffered when Mao promoted the Cultural Revolution.

Mr. Trump’s America is pulling back and creating a power vacuum. China is trying to fill in the shoes. However, US is still very powerful and China would have to make great strides to overcome them. The world may become more multi polar under the current global situation.

Like this, Indian?

"Seventy-nine percent of Chinese aid isn't aid at all: it's commercial loans that Beijing expects to be repaid with interest. Only about seven percent of US loans fit that definition, with the remaining 93 percent being "traditional aid" that isn't meant to be repaid, or repaid at rates far below market. China's money is meant to become an "attractive economic return," according to Parks, rather than a political gesture of deep-pocketed goodwill like their American counterpart."

China, under the leadership of Xi Jinping has come up with a more aggressive foreign policy.

Let's say more comprehensive.

Of course, in the Western parlance, if the opponent does things that are good for itself, it becomes "aggressive policy."

If the opponent subjugates and gives up sovereignty, it becomes "the next shining super power."
