Chinese do not brag like the West. It is in their blood. The fact that the Chinese government always claim they are still a developing country, but the fact is that they are already more developed than most of the West is just one example.

Eh? Have you ever read global times? Or, the fareast and Chinese section of this forum itself?
Heck, I will give you this simple example.

So chinese developed this facial recognition system for survillance. They claim that they are the winner of "AI" wars. They failed to recognize who developed AlexNet -- the VERY DAMN model which started the whole deep-convolutional network craze. It was University of Toronto. Then they claim ALL of future of "AI" is in China. Who is doing the real groundbreaking research? UoT and Geoffrey Hinton. Who developed the first scalable face recognition system called FaceNet? Google!

Basically, they are like those people who copy results from others and claim it to be their. The problem with Chinese is not just bragging. Its pure lying.

Chines are the just stared their engine from scratch, USA/Russia have lots of experiences for designing/developing jet engine, and china has not this type of experience, Su-57 is also using interim engine so whats your point @BringHarmony

My point is
1. J-20 is NOT 5th gen. Not right now. And no, it is not combat ready. See SCMP article.
2. This thread is based on dubious information. A source which is no source.

You're nobody, for your baseless assessment/opinions, China/Russia have different philosophies behind their 5th gen jets then USA, and pentagon takes J-20 serious threat for their defense, that why they started their 6th gewn because of J-20/Su-57 @BringHarmony

1- you're not aeronautical engineer or something to gives your verdict about J-20 is not a stealth jet, you post has no value, and already in PLAAF with interim capabilities

1. I don't need to be "aeronautical engineer", that job is done by SCMP --a leading hong kong based daily-- and its journalists consulting the experts. If they say that Chinese plane is rushed and lacks supercruise, it does. That fact compromises its stealth (as argued by SCMP article), most probably it does.

Now let me question you on this :
How the hell you know PLAAF is not lying to you? Are you an expert to evaluate this? @propakistani

Currently J-20 is being fitted with Interim AL-31, which is not stealthy but PLAAF currently in transitions of replacing AL-31 to WS-10IPE which have better Stealth properties then AL-31 and better thrust, where you assume that i am not accepting that fact that J-20 less stealthy on its back and have super cruise capability, you assume by your self, everyone knows that J-20 has bad stealth properties on its rear and lack super cruise with current engine, what new about it, stop trolling @BringHarmony

You do realize that lack of supercruise make it way less stealthy. Why? Read that SCMP article they tell why.
