Writer Umera Ahmed Says Her "Dhoop ki Diwaar" Script Was Approved by ISPR

Watch the trailer again; and listen to the carefully choreographed language used. Terror attack for freedom fighters, shaheed for Indian hindu soldier, love affair between two. Dushman ka dukh is similar to ours? an occupying force? That's just for what's in the trailer. Again; this is war of narratives, i would've had no issue if it was a private aman ki asha seeking media content. But i would repeat again; this is ISPR supported and approved project.

The kids of punjabis, pushtoons, sindhis, baloch, urdu speakers, gilgitis and kashmiris are dying on LOC and here the media wing of the armed forces is propagating India's narratives. Bravo. And they chose the plot to be around Kashmir cause. Sure!!
all actors and writer should be put in jail alongside the producers. this shit cannot be tolerated.
court-martial who approved this.if they approving this narrative then we are sacrificing our sons at loc?

The reason me and other posters have stopped or limited our participation in this forum, is because of insane and childish tantrums by some. Calm the fukc down, it is ruining this forum.
Pakistan Army tank has an orange roundel - usual PDF suspects “Pakistan is sold out! IK this!!, Bajwa that!! PAF that(muftay main)!”

Instead of how @AgNoStiC MuSliM has pointed out it should be approached

Court martial who and why?

Again, ISPR is not Pakistan's censor board. What specifically did ISPR review in the script and deem as 'OK'? Was it just military details (language, uniform, equipment etc)?

As I said in my previous post, unless a movie or show is an ISPR funded production, ISPR should limit itself to only offering views on the accuracy of military details and any details that might have an impact from an operational standpoint.

As I said in my previous post, unless a movie or show is an ISPR funded production, ISPR should limit itself to only offering views on the accuracy of military details and any possible details that might have a negative impact on military operations.
More importantly - I don’t think in any point has the military (and the ISPR by inference) been against the promotion of peace and peace-generating avenues with India or any other threat.

That's the point of view the writer has put forward following backlash; ISPR not only supported but had a meeting and said that what she wrote is exactly their point of view and stance.

So it's not just uniforms, equipment but she is talking about narrative.

Agreed. Of course both sides want peace, but on their terms only. Therein lies the issue.

I am least interested in what derailed the Indian side but a random Pakistani would have derailed Mushraffs plan.
Irony Jamahir irony

Actions speak louder than words.

thats promoting criminal behaviour. it is not permissible for Pakistani Muslim women to marry a non Muslim by law and constitution.

rest can be argued for as rhetoric or propaganda

chacha aman ka rasta pakdo .
what type of society depends on GHQ for clearance of making a film , drama , novel and story ?
this is pathetic .

O dear. This does not look good. What will make it doubly worse is the fact they would say it was ISPR approved script (regardless of the edits).

The cultural sensitivities have also been ignored for some reason, not only is the girl Pakistani (which is already a problem in our region) but the Indian guy is a hindu. So there will be a religious angle to it as well. That might cause issues as well.

I'd actually be shocked if the ISPR approved the script of a Pakistani Muslim 'Shaheed' soldiers' daughter falling for the Indian hindu soldiers' son.

And obviously, the Kashmiri mujahideen are terrorists. Which is not good (I assume that sort of stuff was edited) but still with the ISPR approval badge is going to be bad.

Before I take a position, I would like to see the script actually submitted to ISPR and what parts of the script were actually reviewed and 'OK'd' by ISPR

Did ISPR review the script solely from the perspective of how accurate military details (uniforms, language, etc) were and whether the script did or did not include anything that would be considered a risk from an operational standpoint?

In my view, outside of an ISPR production, the above should be the only role ISPR has when asked to provide views on a 'script'. ISPR is not Pakistan's censor board, it should NOT have the ability to veto films or TV shows because of a disagreement over the story line.
I doubt they would've filmed these scenes, had they not been given the entirety of the script. They definitely would've vetted.

What's this "Dhoop ki Diwaar" all about? And why is it a bone of contention?

Watch the trailer in the quoted video below. It's two minutes, you'd get your answer. I'd like to hear your views tbh.

our comment was so stupid and braindead it didn't warrant any counter argument. And I'm not even one bit surprised ghalib the infamous modi bakht liked your post

So why did you even bother to reply in the first place ? You should just mind your own business than na....

And if ghalib like my post somehow it's my fault and my patriotism and sanity is in question ? Again, no one can save pdf when it have people like you. Who are so much narrow minded that they can't even listen to an alternative opinion let alone accept it.
