It will Indeed be the worlds LARGEST Floating Solar power plant generating 600 MW of power.

It is almost DOUBLE the power capacity of the second largest Floating solar power plant in china which produces only 320 MW.

LOL at chinese joker quoting 320 GW :lol: He even got a "like" for his desperate Lies. Just goes to show how desperate some are to denigrate India , even if it is based on outright LIES.


This will be built on the Lake made by Omkareshwar Dam.

Omkareshwar Dam is built on the Narmada River where it already produces energy from water, and it is spread over about 100 square kilometres, where there is a very large water body where the water level remains normal.

After this, Khandwa will become the only district in the state to have all three things including solar, hydel and thermal with over 4,000 MW power to be produced from a single district

Each of AMP Energy, NHDC and SJVN won contracts for development of 100 MW. While AMP Energy quoted a tariff of Rs 3.21 per KWh, NHDC won with a quoted tariff of Rs 3.22 per KWh, while SJVN won the contract for the remaining 100 MW capacity at a quoted tariff of Rs 3.26 per kWh.

Not that I like Chinese nationalists but I also am embarrassed by Indian nationalists who have destroyed any progress and rationality that India has had since 1947.

It wasnt a a typing error, stop lying :lol::lol:. If it was a typing error and you meant 300 MW, you wouldnt have stated it is above India 600 MW plant. You were actually stupid enough to believe it can be 300GW.

Because he did an error, not in innocence but most probably in nationalist fervor. But he has corrected himself hence I didn't Like his correction post but replied to it.

Does it matter ? Centralized, huge-infrastructure-based electricity generation will soon be obsolete so it doesn't matter in these GW wars. Device-level electricity generation will come in. Check out the American company NDB which is developing a battery that generates from reactor-waste-but-radioactive carbon-14 material that is enclosed within synthetic diamond. The battery is called Nano Diamond Battery ( the company uses the short form as its name ). And more than this is the ultimate form of electricity generation from the eternal and omni-present cosmic particles neutrinos ( I will create a thread about this soon ). How's that for scientific temperament ? :)

Again, do you know the energy density of such battery compared to lithium ion batteries?
