World academics express solidarity with Kashmiris

These academics must surely be the likes of our own बरखा दत्त । Pseudo intellectuals to be exact.

You would know that we do not have the same relations as of today now? Or your media hasn't told you that yet.
No, you don't. But the links and people cultivated then linger on.

It would take atleast a couple of decades for these people to die off.

Seriously how you guys manage to come up with ridiculous stuff and on top of that believe it to?
If we had any influence on UK we would have been in much better position now.

But you do have influence. Why else would UK parliament take up the issue of kashmir a year or so back in their debate?

Similarly you have a lot of pull in the US State department.

These things are leftovers from the past. They will die down as time passes. Meanwhile we(India) just have to put up with it.

Because we asked them to? But remember it, UK doesn't do anything that is not in their interests, so "Pakistan influence" is a very minimal factor.

Seriously? you still believe that? considering all the bashing and that F-16 fiasco and CSF fund cancellation and what not.
No we don't.

No we don't.
There are multiple viewpoints in any Government. Elected Goverments are not monolith entities. The Head chooses which viewpoint to follow for any action.

There is a pro-Pakistan lobby even in the Govt of India that believes India should seek peace with Pakistan and not respond in kind to what Pakistan does, who think that Pakistan becoming prosperous is good for India.

Similarly there is a Hawk lobby as well.

It is the PM and his Cabinet who decide what to follow.

Similarly, and unfortunately, Pakistan has quite the pull in the State Department, this comes from decades of very very close cooperation between Pakistan and US. It will take decades for it to get wiped off.

Most of the signatories are either of Pakistani origin or Khalistani losers. No surprises here!
 You hit the nail on the head! The Pakistanis are in overdrive on Kashmir and are trying their darnedest to strike while the iron is hot. And the presstitutes have joined the bandwagon too. There are free lunches to be had in 5 star hotels. But the end result would be zilch, as usual. :P
