Work on M-9 (Hyderabad-Karachi Motorway) to start by December

Work on Hyderabad-Karachi Motorway project is likely to start by December this year.

National Highway Authority would undertake the project of conversion of Super Highway into Motorway (M-9) on Build-Operate-Transfer basis.

The project will cost 6.3 billion rupees and the scope of work includes expansion of the road from four to six lanes and provision of service areas.

The M-9 Motorway will have seven inter-changes, two service areas at the midway points and 16 toll plazas on entry and exit points.
