Not sure of IQ but sad and really barbaric mentality! As woman I am disgusted with the number of "uneducated" "ignorant" people!

Uneducated - not in the terms illiterate just uneducated with world affairs especially when it comes to Islam- they feed off wrong media - yup let me clarify this before someone bombards me!

May be you should open your horizon, women deserve to have as much pleasure as men.
And there is nothing wrong in giving yourself a treat.. you are worth it. :)

What do you know about me? Or about any Saudi woman?

That was in reply to your 'boys will be boys' post(which in turn was in reply to my post about women seeking pleasure from sex toys due to absense of men folks).
I dont know anything about you but you gave an impression that it is somehow vulgar/absurd thought.
Are you saudi woman? what is your thought about this extreme segregation. Do you welcome it?

.
Jokes aside, I feel it's not such a great idea. I mean seriously, EVEN IF it's with good intentions in mind - gradual liberalization or for pacifying local unrest amongst the women folk (who want to work etc etc).

Any further partition between the sexes will backfire. It's a bad idea, no matter whosoever may have proposed this as an alternative to the harsher right-wingers idea of putting the women under even tighter restrictions.

I don't want Saudia to become liberalized overnight, however, this is one HUGE step back!

I am not a Saudi woman, I am a Muslim woman who think woman should be treated like human beings...most importantly, if you have a mother, sister, wife, daughter and want others to respect them, please offer the same to other people's mother, sister, wife, daughter ...

This is typical negative mentality...Right now all Saudi women can think of in plan is that they will get to work without being worried about absurd laws which limit them from being useful to their country!

All these women want is to be a part of the "slow" Saudi development.

There is nothing backward about letting a woman work! And if their laws make it difficult and by introducing this city, it will make them a bit more relaxed...then I say AHLAN WA SAHLAN

I respect you. Next point.
BTW, the respect you are asking for is disturbing, in effect you are saying I should consider all women as my mother/sister hence should not think about sex?

Thinking about sex is 1 thing but vulgar display or should I say ANIMAL behaviour is your choice - just shows your mentality

Indian law does not apply to thought (no thought crime in India), and by and large freedom of speech is permitted.
What vulgar display are you talking about?
I am not talking about personal life(yours or mine), will only give general view here. :)

Who said that it was wrong for women to work? I want women working in tandem with their male counterparts.

Solution to a problem is not another social experiment.

The problem is the PRESENT twisted law. So, that is the root cause, fix it, slowly if necessary! What you're proposing will create additional pottential parallaxes inside their society. Why not for heavens sake, slowly start fixing that is wrong in the first place.

NOW CHEW ON THIS: MARK MY WORDS

In a couple of years, if this goes through, the repercussions of this will come back to bite you and the girls of Pakistan, Malaysia etc etc in the a**. Our people will take it as something that was missing from SHARIA LAW, and will emotionally black-mail our society into submission of something similar.

Saudia, being the flag-bearer of Islam, has greater responsibilities at stake. It has to think on a much bigger scale, before making such decisions. (Sometimes I believe they make these mistakes consciously)

Therefore there is nothing negative about my thinking. I may joke occasionally, but I see the future couple of decades ahead of time. I have been here before. Don't want a repeat of the same short-sighted policy making on behalf of the Saudis! (AGAIN)

. .
Its their country and their business. Let them decide it for themselves or you will going to bomb them to teach them american western culture :P This women only city will probably have less crimes of victimization for example rape, sexual assault, etc and women will be probably more safer :)

Sorry just soo many post am looking for the post I was referring to...I think it was by someone else...was just giving a general reply to the rubbish posts I read....

I have the perfect name for the city, it should be called 'Lesbi'. :)
And the inhabitants will be known as....

I do disagree with you in regards of this step being backward. This project will be productive and will definitely carry a beneficial outcome, it has nothing to do creating a division among sexes.

.
Now that is ignorant! Really ignorant!
Talon, it doesn't suit that you use: "Negative mentality", " Ignorant", "vulgar", "IQ" etc etc.

You maybe a feminist. But that means there is a level playing field for rest of the players as well. You don't want to engage a lot of people here, in a pissing contest. Trust me on that!

We're all capable of logical thoughts and a lively debate. Are you?
