Sector commanders have rang up Pakistan at least 16 times but they have not responded even once, said Rakesh Sharma.

With Pakistan not responding to the repeated telephone calls from India, the Border Security Force (BSF) jawans have been asked to respond to any incident of unprovoked firing from across the international border with a higher intensity.

Inspector General of BSF in Jammu frontiers, Rakesh Sharma, said that during the DGMO level meeting between two countries last year, it was decided that when ever there is firing from one side, the sector level commander on the other side will call his counter part to sort out the issue. “Ever since Pakistani Rangers resorted to unprovoked firing on the Indian side since Juky 16, sector commanders on our side have rang up their Pakistani counterparts at least 16 times. However, the latter have not responded even once,” he said.

“We are not going to tolerate any shelling on our civilians,” he said, adding that the BSF troops have been asked to deal with more instensity to the situation as and when the arises,” he said. “We have received clear orders from the top and these have been conveyed to te troops at ground level,” he said.

When asked about the steps being taken to defuse the situation, he said that that BSF was prepared to attend any flag meeting whenever it is called by Pakistan. However, the latter has not responded to any of our calls in the past.

looks like india pakistan is getting ready for war.....

.
It's an unfortunate situation. Looks like PA wants to gain sympathy of it's people. We should not feed their agenda.

.
Its deliberate, however failed to achieve anything since the gang crossed over before two days already bite the dust, few left is getting heavy firing.

.
after you cancel talks with Pakistan we are not obliged to pick any calls-

. . .
It was the Pakistanis who called for DGMO level talks first which was rightly refused by us

.
We are only following mutually created protocol.
We gave you a chance.
Now don't complain when the shelling starts.
its not us- you canceled mutually created dialogues- and now complaining about telephone calls- give me a break- we following mutually created bla bla bla-
and its not about giving a chance- this is not 50's- nuclear deterrence is our chance and we achieved it ourselves- get down of your high horse- conventional skirmishes we are fully capable to make you resume the talks-
and the shelling never stops even when the phone calls are picked up or dialogues happen- so update yourself- there is no complaining- there is only replying back- which is going quite well from our side-

We cancelled foreign secretary level talks because you met separatists right before those talks in order to undermine our internal security thus you interfered in our internal affairs giving us the duty of cancelling foreign secretary level talks with you.

War is not going to breakout over ceasefire violations only medium scale skirmishes.

The shelling will be conducted by more heavy caliber guns so it is a more deadly and lethal situation.

Pakistan by breaking protocol is taking South Asia towards a volatile situation.

Meeting the separatists is part of the dialogue- since allegedly we have them on our side- no point in any sort of dialogue if the main party is not involved-
The problem is you are not ready to accept dialogue on Kashmir the main bone of contention- saying thats not the main problem- on other hand act so fragile if we deal with them- so the dialogues are better off canceled-
We will bring out our heavy caliber guns and make you talk- or to a stand off-
Last time it happened it didn't end up good for you-

By meeting the separatists you are meddling in our internal affairs. Foreign secretary level talks can be cancelled on this basis.

I expect Pakistan to do the same if the Bugtis turn up in New Delhi for talks.

We have already stated that we will have a dialogue on Jammu and Kashmir on the basis on Insaniyat.

Last time was Kargil. Everyone knows who's guns were more deadly.

It cannot be your internal affairs when the dialogue are suppose to be exactly on that- its no rocket science to comprehend that-
Bugtis have turned up in new delhi and yet we have not canceled the talks- shows the sincerity and honesty which you lack-
Talk about internal affairs- you want to know what it should look like- Baluchistan- you have no business there- you dont share a boundary- you have no inherent right to claim any thing there- unlike kashmir even the balouchis doesnt want you-
So meddling with your internal affairs is just your favorite rhetoric-
Kashmir- jugular vein is BS-

The thing is we need no big guns to make india sit on the table-again-
Big guns is the thing of the past-
If we could inflict heavy casualties on indian side during standoff and deter any aggression with nuclear deterrent- nothing to worry about for us-
you can keep the big guns in your trophy wall- just for showoff- or fire them occasionally if you like-
