we have heard the dialogue " with great powers come great responsibilities"

we agree with it

but i have reached the conclusion that vice versa of this thought is also true.

which is " with great responsibilities come great powers"

because responsibilities can not be fulfilled by any one if he hasn't power and authority to full fill it

so if responsibilities are great then one will also need great powers / authority to full fill them

kindly discuss and no cheap shots please

You need greater power then what your dealing with:)

Well this is hypothetical say Denmark and Bolivia were at war (lol) then for some1 to intervene they would have to have greater power then both to stop the fighting.

Because no1 would listen to them if the intervener had no troops to stop the fighting.

Edit:Didnt mean to quote myself

I actually spent 10 seconds thinking about this. But its really thoughtfull when you state with power comes .... but the other way round its just silly and not true

Have you been in any work environment ? You will find many people with great responsibilities but with very little power. The shrewd people usually relegate their responsibilities to that poor chap

They MUST come simultaneously, or it becomes irrelevent.

If given responsibility, like "You are in charge of the electrical power for the whole province", then by definition, you must also be given the keys to do the job. Hiring, firing, giving orders that must be followed.

And no one is given great power unless there is a task (a responsibility) that goes with it. You were a Prince, and today you become King because your Father died. You have ultimate power, but you are also responsible for your kingdom.
