A lot of water has passed under the bridge since i was last logged here. The China/India clash in Ladakh is probably the main development in our region in the recent times. Much has been claimed and written on the clash. Some 20 Indian soldiers were killed in confrontation with PLA.....while fate of dozens more was unknown until the Chinese revealed their capture. If as Indians claim that they killed more Chinese soldiers than their own losses, then it's no rocket science to conclude that Chinese could have easily exacted their revenge on captured Indian soldiers whose fate was otherwise unknown to the Indians. However, let's concentrate on the aftermath with India deploying it's air assets and otherwise in the sector. As usual, we witnessed Indian media glorifying all and at the same time annihilating China from their studios. The Indian air force or Agni Pankh even started showboating in front of the cameras.
They say, a picture is equal to a thousand words but in India's case, they tell the whole story.
Firstly we are shown IAF carrying out what they like to call air dominance flights by launching a whole single SU-30 (Image)
Now will someone please tell me what's wrong with this picture, either HAL or DRDO have mastered the technology of concealing all the weapons inside the SU-30 or maybe just like the Indian army, the IAF doesn't believe in carrying arms on LAC....but as long as folks back home can see a jet in the air....Modi will look strong.
Pareshan Patil.
Indian defence minister on an earlier visit to Ladakh region, poor chap looks as if he woke up on the wrong side of the bed....wonder if Indians are still giving forecast for Gilgit-Balitistan or Mercury rising closer to home has got their attention.
