A lot of water has passed under the bridge since i was last logged here. The China/India clash in Ladakh is probably the main development in our region in the recent times. Much has been claimed and written on the clash. Some 20 Indian soldiers were killed in confrontation with PLA.....while fate of dozens more was unknown until the Chinese revealed their capture. If as Indians claim that they killed more Chinese soldiers than their own losses, then it's no rocket science to conclude that Chinese could have easily exacted their revenge on captured Indian soldiers whose fate was otherwise unknown to the Indians. However, let's concentrate on the aftermath with India deploying it's air assets and otherwise in the sector. As usual, we witnessed Indian media glorifying all and at the same time annihilating China from their studios. The Indian air force or Agni Pankh even started showboating in front of the cameras.
They say, a picture is equal to a thousand words but in India's case, they tell the whole story.
Firstly we are shown IAF carrying out what they like to call air dominance flights by launching a whole single SU-30 (Image)

Now will someone please tell me what's wrong with this picture, either HAL or DRDO have mastered the technology of concealing all the weapons inside the SU-30 or maybe just like the Indian army, the IAF doesn't believe in carrying arms on LAC....but as long as folks back home can see a jet in the air....Modi will look strong.

Pareshan Patil.
Indian defence minister on an earlier visit to Ladakh region, poor chap looks as if he woke up on the wrong side of the bed....wonder if Indians are still giving forecast for Gilgit-Balitistan or Mercury rising closer to home has got their attention.

. . .
I won't say they were just killed windy

They were lynched. Tortured and frozen to death

Basically recent Delhi riots were reenacted in cold Galwan valley
Yes and the point is, if as Indians claim they killed 45 or so PLA soldiers then Chinese would have every reason and perfect opportunity to equal or even exceed the tally by killing captured Indian soldiers.

Btw China and India, who made it public to the world there was a clash in Galwan??

IF hiding casualties was our intention or we were looking for an exit route at any cost or if we were worried of India public reaction, Indian govt wouldn't have made our casualty numbers public. No one in the the world would get an whiff of the clash as China wasn't doing in any case or even better called it some accident in those high Himalayan mountains.

Instead all 20 casualties were made public and all KIAs were given the military gaurd of honor they deserved during their last rites and hefty compensation were declared. The wife Co was appointed as deputy collector and given a 5cr apartment in Hyderabad in his home town.

Everyday we read media reports by journalists who have freedom reports are per their understanding.

Even Pakistani members who are crowing about loss of 60sqkm territory in Ladakh or loss of Galwan to China, they are doing it after reading it in Indian media which is otherwise discarded as fake new on the forum.

Indian govt has been transparent from the beginning. When Modi says our soldiers 'marte marte mare' or died fighting, this is evident from media approach in the respective countries. China is maintaining radio silence while India is telling the story to the world.

India may have revealed its casualties but it also has a habit of whistling on both sides.
Just like we are used to hearing how many Pakistani soldiers killed, wounded, how many bunkers destroyed or posts damaged....not forgetting the Balakot fiasco.
And with 40 soldiers in Chinese captivity, i'm sure Modi sarkar would have easily got away by claiming the other 20 died in some accident and with every punch up being recorded and beamed around the world, i would be very surprised if the footage of the deadly clash and aftermath doesn't exists.
