Will South India break up from India?

. .
Hypothetically, if South India breaks up from the rest of India, then the South's tax receipts and GDP will go down the drain hole. It will worse than if the South's tax share decreases through normal means.

Tax reforms are necessary to fix the current problem. The Commission made the correct assessment regarding tax share by population. But they should provide some alternate financial sops to the states that have done well with regards to population control.

It's not a big deal though. It's just fear-mongering.

I am glad that present discourse is happening. Centre until recently has taken south for granted.

Maharashtra is the highest GDP provider in the list, and almost double the 2nd ranker.
3 states in first 5 are northern with maharashtra making a big chunk.
So if at all it shud be maharashtra making the first claim. But we never used such seccessionist launguage.

Reforms are welcomed, but seccessionist language is disgusting.

Western China. Xinjiang 2018. The per capita GDP of 7000 USD.

Looks like you got serious comprehension issues. I never said western provinces are undeveloped but they are poorer when compared to their eastern counter parts and I am speaking in relative terms which is the same with India

I second you but the reforms shouldn't just be focused on distribution of funds but also on how to curb the population in northern states

No.
Neither Karnataka CM nor Telangana CM nor TN CM nor Kerala CM talked about any such thing.
Similarly no major opposition leaders did either.
Even MK Stalin backtracked on it.

Only reason Karnataka CM raised tax divide was because of upcoming elections in his state.

Your stereotype, now Xinjiang is a high-speed development. Beijing invested 460 billion RMB in Xinjiang each year (about 70 billion USD). This is included here. the investment in the manufacturing sector is 280 billion RMB (about 40 billion USD). and Xinjiang has advanced wind power equipment manufacturing capacity, light industry, and petrochemical industry.

BTW, Xinjiang has the world's largest polysilicon production base.

Watch out. You will be labelled a Pakistani in no time for advocating separation of South India.
I am not advocating secession of south.. I am only demanding our rightful share and voicing my protest against distributing funds disproportionately

Have you gone full retard or are you just pretending not to understand my point and going with your dumbass theory. I do agree your Xinjiang is developed and is receiving funds but their contribution to the economy is relatively lesser than your eastern provinces which are far more developed and that's what I'm quoting for my country. Anyway peace out mate...I can't debate with someone who talks out of context

Many South Indians I have met recently do not want to secede, but they aren't happy with the distribution of funds.. So I don't know how true the OP is.. but there is surely a resentment.. and that's building..

By the way, I am here in middle east for the past 10 years now.. have worked with many Indians, including South Indians.. something has happened recently..

Actually, India should be divided into kingdoms just like before British arrival. Reverse British imperialism.

For advocating freedom for Indian people, we will be label as Pakistani. Indians need to know that everyone wants whats best for the people living under the current Modi regime, not just Pakistanis.
First decide if your own motherland is a nation or province of China then preach anyone.

This is all BS. It's only on the internet and nothing else.
