Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde claimed that government will bring Indias most wanted fugitive and Mumbai serial blast key accused Dawood Ibrahim to India soon.
In an interview to private news channel Shinde said that efforts are on to nab Dawood, who is currently hiding in Pakistan.
Shinde said that Indian government has been mulling a joint action with the United States to arrest the most wanted gangster-turned terrorist, Dawood Ibrahim
The Home Minister said that Indian security agencies have recently captured key militants -- Abdul Karim Tunda and Yaseen Bhatkal--while few killed on border during encounter with Indian Army.
On Dawood, Shinde said that government is in touch with FBI to nab him.
"We have nabbed some most wanted terrorists and have recently killed a few on the border. As far as Dawood is concerned, we are in touch with the FBI. There is already a red corner notice. We have proposed for a joint action with the US (to arrest him). Attorney General Eric Holder has also agreed to this," Shinde said.
"Our information is that he is in somewhere in Pakistan and he should be handed over. We have been saying this," Shinde.
