You are never going to get past #11. It's why there is so much hypocrisy in so many of these kind of arguments. You protest that the right to eat beef is taken from you (in the places where it is) regardless of whether it causes offense to some Hindus (on the basis that rules & restrictions in any religion should not lend itself to imposition on others) but will never agree to Hindus & others (non-Muslims) drawing images of the prophet etc on the basis that Islam forbids it & that it is deemed offensive to Muslims. Very few would support the positions taken by Denmark, France etc & largely think that the French were partially responsible for the attack on the cartoonists. Little wonder that the claim that one thing is an attack on secularism but the other isn't does not carry much credibility.

Did you even read what I typed?!! There should be a start somewhere. Nepal's temple banned animal sacrifice this year. On the face of it, they abandoned centuries old tradition. But they realized their faith has to be leashed.

But if you are going to cut your hand because the other guy is cutting his finger, it is stupidity. If muslims loose their temper and join militancy over some random cartoons, it will lead to their own destruction.

Unfortunately what the apara-Hindus tell normal Hindus is that they should not give even an inch when it comes to their religion. Even if the inch seems meaningful. Like beef, which is consumed by a large number of Hindus, dare I say, a significant fraction. Why? Because they have to show muslims that Hinduism is strong and can make a point.

The point is, if muslims got their own civil code, it lead to their decay in India, their women's subservience and their children's pathetic living standards. So they are losing unlike what the Hindutva champions try to teach us.
