I was having a discussion with a friend a few days ago. For the context, the guy is a Moroccan immigrant. He was born and raised in The Netherlands like me. He is a comedian. Comedians have a fantastic way of looking at the world. Racism came up and we were thinking why the white man loves certain types of activists and absolutely despise others. We concluded the following:

The white folks admire Mandela, Martin Luther and Gandhi types. The white angry man loves nonviolent resistance to white supremacy. This is essentially what Gandhi did. He sat idle when his people were being butchered by white colonialists. The white man has no issues with brown people protesting and holding vigils against white tyranny. Their problems starts when you stand up and act against tyranny. They will sing your praises all day long. In fact, you will make it in the white history books. Why? Simply because white angry men don't like to be told that they are wrong. The white angry man believes in his powers very religiously. The white man believes that he is above and beyond criticism. The white man believes the world owes him gratitude. The white man is the inventor of things. The white man provides food and shelter. The white man believes he was chosen by God to provide and rule over inferior races. The white angry man hates anyone who stands up and acts against white oppression. That person is labelled a tyrant, terrorist or a dictator.

What are your thoughts regarding white angry men showing admiration for the Gandhi types? Is it a fair assessment that white folks show admiration for leaders who sit idle and don't stand up against white brutality?

He is cunning the white angry man. He has developed a system in which he gets to select who is worthy of praise. Even as the the white angry man has ravaged and pillaged his brown and black colonies, he gets to select the role model. It is the white angry man who handpicked Gandhi and Mandela types. It is the white angry man who told other colored people to look up to and rever Gandhi types.

This begs the question, why? Even after savagely looting and plundering brown species the white angry man wants to be on top. He wants to have the final say. He wants to impose his handpicked role model onto inferior brown species. He wants to write the history. The white angry man doesn't want to be held accountable by the same standards he looted and destroyed other lands. This would amount to reparations and repentance in equal measure.

The white angry man is not ready to admit his guilt and sins.

Another question arises. Why are there white double standards? Why does the white angry man get on his knees for war crimes committed against his beloved Jewish kin? Why is the white angry man willing to commemorate, apologise and repay for his sins committed against the Jewish community? Yet, the white angry man is unwilling to acknowledge nor discuss crimes committed against people of color?

Polemics and irony aside, the whole "white angry opinion" sermonising and lecturing colonial subjects or lesser races on "how to resist us appropriately" absolutely reeks of hypocrisy and self-apologism for the monopolisation of violence by those deemed "worthy".

It's the same reasoning that lectures blacks and muslims today that is also behind the systematic dehumanisation of any non-whites who dared to rival whites militarily and politically throughout history. This can essentially be narrowed down to: Mongols, Arabs, Turks and Chinese. An honourable mention for the Japanese also. Now the common thread in the way whites handled the propaganda war against all these groups was the absolute dehumanisation and demonisation of these races during periods of hot or cold war. These groups dared to challenge them and whites lost their rag and went into a mental breakdown because of it. One needs to read the accounts of French generals literally dancing on Saladin's grave to understand the inferiority complex dynamics at play.

It is an eternal sense of entitlement and privilege that declares to the non-white world that they are only allowed to respond in certain proscribed ways to white hegemony. How dare the ottomans or the Chinese challenge us! A few Mandelas and Gandhis are wholly acceptable.

Now with regards to the reasons that underlie the phenomenon - they are psychological and strategic. Psychologically, the apex predator becomes arrogant. This leads to an overinflated ego and reflexively declaring any rival as insolent for daring to regard themselves as a rival to one's supremacy.

Strategically, it is obviously a smart move to delegitimise any proper coordinated attempt to completely snatch power from oneself. It makes sense for a failing empire - where demise is inevitable - to at least mitigate its own demise by being in league with its usurper (some non-violent movement for example) such that it may retain some influence. The alternative - a violent sacking of your capital and pyramids of skulls being made - is to be avoided, for obvious reasons but also because that destroys any hope of your descendants wielding at least some legacy of soft power within the new usurper's capital.

I haven't made a single "White friend" in my life unless money was involved somewhere in the picture. Either he or she owed me, or I owed them, or we had been working for the same company.

The Sanghi Indians don't really get it. They think the White people will risk their own lives to get involved on behalf of India in any future altercations with China or Pakistan.

I know a White Briton who runs a popular YouTube channel where he waxes praise on Narendra Modi and abuses Pakistan. I don't want to link to that here, you can find out on your own. Needless to say, his YouTube video has millions of views from India. He's literally milking us Indians by telling us what we like to hear.

Would I consider such a White person my friend? Probably not. Friendship should revolve around something deeper than money.

The white angry man loves to bestow his mercy and favors on a selected few so that he can brag how he is not a racist. He likes to keep a few allies that he has bought. He is trying to play it safe, but his treachery is all too apparent.

The world has started to wake up to the white angry threat. The white man is angry about everything. How the colored man is living next door to him. How the colored man took his job. How the colored man is responsible for all the ills in the white man's society and world at large. It is all the doing of the colored man and the white man is righteous. The white man's displeasure and anger is essentially aimed at all colored species. It has from day one. As you rightly point out, first the Muslims were at receiving end. Throughout the history white crusaders felt the need to colonise, kill and destroy others. From the Ottomans to colonising brown nations. The list of brutality doesn't end.

Today the white man's anger is directed towards China. Another great nation trying to stand up and defend its values and civilisation. The white angry man doesn't approve of it. He wants to shove Americanism and Westernisation down the Chinese throat just like the rest of the world. The white angry man has found a match. He knows it and he is terrified.

If you want an honest discussion than you'll have to subdivide the groups by a multitude of factors, race just being one of many, trace the roots of the problem, compare those problems to everything we know about humans (their history, their traits, their motivation etc) and even extend those comparisons to the animal world because in behavioral science there are many answers.

You're not going to do anything, apart from ranting on the internet. I was angry like you a few years ago but than I started to wonder why I'm angry, why I see the world in us vs them so I found refuge in searching for answers,in educating myself,because life is to complex to be explained in a simple, tribalistic way. Not only that I lost the hate which took to much of my time and energy but in doing so my life got better to, from a financial to a psychological angle.

Nonviolent protests get things done. Violent protests can be easily expunged, no matter what if you are in majority and a small minority use violence to further an agenda, there will be no support for them ( except tactical support with arms for more violence).

The Civil rights movement was largely a nonviolent movement that ended an era of Racial discrimination in the US. Paved ways to legislative measures in protecting racial discrimination.
