I have seen at least 20 Indian users becoming active again.

What is the deal? Did some Indian forum close shop?

Have you seen the state of Indian forums? They’re ranked in the hundreds of thousands by Alexa’s rating for engagement. Aside Indians you only see tumble weed there.

Although the brutal murder of the Sri Lankan national is a crime against humanity but I can say with conviction that most of the Indians were or are still hopeful that Sri Lanka carries out some form of action against Pakistan or there is civil unrest.

This forum is the best in term of giving freedom of speech, many nationalities are here, many knowledgeable member with technical expertise that is difficult to be seen in other forum like @gambit @dr.knowhow @JamD etc
