300 million is BS. If it was 300 million, we'd all be crapping our pants right about now. I'd say 200,000-300,000 actually armed fighters, fund raisers and radical leaders. Another 2-3 million who blindly believe everything these people say (these are your run of the mill protesters who always seem less informed and always seem to be able to make time to protest every little thing).100 million who make excuses for them after the fact because of some false sense of kinship but don't actually support them and the other billion and half are just embarrassed of all the groups above.

I would put armed at around 100,000 worldwide and the rest 3 million supporters while maybe a few unwittingly supporters as well (a lot of time these groups collect funds in the name of charity without many people knowing what they are really going too).

The reason is very simple....and I think all of you know it....just pretending to be innocent....

There is a saying: "your silence implies your consent"......if you don't protest a crime, then you are equal partner to it.

I haven't seen yet, these so called 'peaceful' Muslims uttering a word against the atrocities committed against non-Muslims anywhere in the world......they only speak up when non-Muslims give them a 'taste of their own medicine' and to a lesser extent when they are targeted by their fellow Muslims.....

Therefore, remaining peaceful and silent won't help, you have to protest against the atrocities of those extremists to make people notice that you are actually against them.......otherwise you will be always clubbed together........

the panel and the organizer are well known radical conservatives. they are also very intolerant about Islam and Muslims, so much so that the only Muslim they will accept is one who is not actually a Muslim

I will like to add, it is important that every community encourage tolerance, non violence etc. i see a problem with Muslims that, most of them in some form support radical elements. They provide the atmosphere which helps these elements. It is the responsibility of any community to prevent radicalism. i do not see them doing it, they talk about minority rights, but they treat their minorities very badly. Cannot think of any Muslim countries where minorities are treated well. Saudi is worst where they cannot even practice their religion. At the core they are medieval in thinking.
